CHAPTER 2

i hardly get to see him anymore only when he performs, or guests on variety shows, i miss him, i looked up at the ceilling from my position on the ground of the dance studio, our favourite hang out spots, the place where we always knew where the other would be, i should be happy and cheering him on but, its just lonely, i really wonder if he feels the same. I turned over to lie down on my stomach looking towards the door, he always came when i needed him, i sighed and got up, i brushed my hair out of my eyes and looked sadly at my reflection.

'unnie' i heard seohyun at the door 'are you busy' she continued

i shaked my head 'no' smiling at her, she gestured for me to come to her, i looked at her confused picked up my bag and walked to her, she held unto my hand

'pali, super junior oppas are coming we are going to have a party for them to celebrate them debutting' she said smiling, i nodded in a daze.

'hyoyeonah where were you we were looking everywhere for you, geez' said Jessica sitting by the window

'ignore her they are almost here, we need you to be your normal bubbly self' said taeyeon pulling me to the centre of the room where evryone was gathered, my future bandmates, managers and workers of the company, i smiled at her 'araso'

'they are here, they are here' called yuri excitedly closing the door behind her

'turn down the music, when they come in blast it' ordered tiffany,

i saw the door knob turn and they entered, everyone was jumoing and screaming congratulations and i saw him and a bright smile erupted on face, i began to jump and clap automatically the excitement that was filling the room finally reaching my , we were all unaware of their shocked faces, we were too excited to see them, we gathered around them as taeyeon brought the cake to leeteuk, tiffany went for the lighter to light the candles

'13 SJ members 13 candles' she said smiling, once she finished lighting them, i walked over to where eunhyuk stood

'ooh, guess what' i said looking up at him

'what' he replied, looking back at me

'i saw you on tv, i almost didnt recognize you, you actually looked cool, probably some kind of camera trick' i said cheekily, he laughed

'im gonna just ignore what you just said,' he said

'monkey, its been two months since your official debut, how do you feel' i asked

'this sounds like an interview' he said

'an interviewer wouldn't call you monkey' i said annoyed

'yeah your right, it feels good its what i've been dreaming for, for years, its what i always wanted, to perform, i dont know if it will get better or harder, i'll wait a year to tell you a definite answer and update you' he answered, i just looked at him,

'do you miss your old life' i asked hesistantly, bowing my head to hide my true feelings, without looking he answered 'not really' my head snapped up at his answer

'why not' i asked frustrated, he raised his eyebrow at me and frowned

'there is just nothing really there for me, the life im living now its harder, its where my love and passion is' he said smiling happily

Even though it hurts i couldnt help but feel happy for him and that he continues to do well, and be there by his side as.....maybe his...friend, i took a peek at him through my bangs thinking 'two years from now maybe i'll be in the same world as him experiencing the same things as him,' i sighed and payed attention to the people dancing, and we joined in later, the chemistry still there.

'Oppa, oppa' i could hear fans screaming as the superjunior members stepped out of their van and was making their way to the SM building, i looked down at them from the window of the dance studio, amazed.

'hyoyeon unnie what's wrong' asked seohyun as she made her way to stand next to me, she too looked out the window 'wow so many fans im happy they are doing well' she said nodding her head with a satisfied look on her face, i nodded too, this would be my first time in two months talking to him since the celebratory party.

'hyoyeon ssi, seohyun ssi, come on we have to practise,' called jessica, seohyun immediately removed herself from the window, i looked at him before reluctantly moving away.

After practise was over seohyun, jessica and i made our way to super junior's dance studio, we entered quietly and saw the boys seated all over the place, exhausted, we bowed in greeting and all thirteen of them did the same. i saw kyuhyun, donghae and eunhyuk get up from where they were huddled together to make their way over to us. i looked up at him, confidence oozing out of him, we bowed to them and greeted with a cheerful 'annyonghaseyo'. they did the same.

'we were about to go to your dance studio and invite you guys to our cottage tommorrow, we already spoke to other sm trainees, DBSK hyungs will be coming' explained Kyuhyun

'can it hold everyone,' asked jessica frowning

'well yeah, but we are planning to use the grounds for picnic, games and barbecue, its been ages since we actually had one' donghae explained 'and you can rest in the cottage if you get overheated, but we are not planning to stay long though' he continued

' we can tell the rest the news, our schedule is free, but i have to see if they have anything doing' i answered,

'make sure' said kyuhyun, 'yes' we said together, before we could leave together, eunhyuk held unto my arm, effectively stopping me

'why' i said, jessica and seohyun stopped to see what was the matter,

'i want to speak to you' he said, i looked at him before turning back to the girls and telling them that it was okay and that they can go on without me, after they left, eunhyuk stepped away to go outside i followed annoyed, he suddenly stopped when we were a distance away from the room, and i collided into him

'monkey!' i said, a smile suddenly graced his first,

'its a long time since i heard that nickname' he said, i rolled my eyes

'sorry a habit' i muttered, not looking at him, in fear that my feelings would be exposed,

'hyoyeon ah' he said softly, my attention fully on him,

'you've changed' he said, his eyes intent, my heart frantically beating in my chest,

'what do you mean' i asked uncomfortable

'you seem distant, did something happen' he asked worriedly

'no, im just abit nervous about our debut, thats coming up, we've been working our butts off' i answered, stating a half truth, not wanting him knowing of my feelings and that i am trying to get over them, if i get rid of them itwould help both of us, ianyother way it will just be in the way.

he looked at me a while longer, 'oh there is something else' my lips turning downwards, frustrated at the interrrogation' he looked at me up and down looking as if indeep thought

'you...............look abit pudgy' he said grinning, my eyes widened in embarassment, and slapped him hard on his arms, while he groaned in pain, still continuing with his laughter, i couldnt help it but started to laugh along with him, i gave him an extra punch for my sake,

'i hate you' i said smiling.

'woohoo, road trip' exclaimed heechul as he packed his luggage into his manager's car

'isnt the cottage just a couple miles away' stated jessica cooly, heechul closed the trunk and turned to glare at the girl beside him

'why?' she asked confused at the glare that she was receiving, i just shaked my head as i walked pass,

'noona' called onew as he made his way to my side, i looked at him in question

'who are you going with' he asked 'eunhyuk oppa, i already put my bags in the car we're taking' i answered

'really, okay see you there' he said beforing walking towards his car

'lee jinki make sure you dont cause any trouble on our way there' i said calling after him, he turned and grinned 'dont cross your fingers' he said before entering the car

'hyoyeon ah' i heard a voice behind me , i turned swiftly almost colliding with eunhyuk 'were ready' he said before pushing me towards the vehicle

'yah!!! monkey' i shouted, he opened the door,

'the carriage is awaiting, princess' he said, i looked at him weird before entering. he closed the door and sat beside me with leeteuk seated at the front seat

i rolled my eyes, "leeteuk oppa, i thought you were going with Taeyeon's group" i asked confused

'ah no, changed my mind last minute' he said not turning around

'its just because there was no more space, and had to come with us' eunhyuk replied a smirk apparent on his gleeful face

leeteuk turned around and glared at him, ears red from embarassment, i covered my mouth trying to control the laughter,

'hyoyeon ah dont listen to him, he's crazy' he muttered looking directly at me, i smiled and nodded earnestly.

'hyung, hyo dont answer to you' he said a matter of factly.

'i dont answer to you either' i said looking at him, he clutched his chest as if in pain

'kim hyoyeon, your so heartless' he groaned, i rolled my eyes in annoyance, recovered he flung his arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer to him, i just stayed there, temper slowly building,

'my darling hyoyeon, promise you'll say no more hurtful words like that again' he stated

'if you dont take your hands off me im sure you'll experience something more hurtful than just my words' i growled, he immediately released me, smirking 'such a spit fire, you should have permanent warning sides placed around you' he said patting my head

'are we almost there' i said calmly, 'yep half n hour more' said eunhyuk, positioning himself to lie in my lap, 'how is that almost there, monkey' i asked looking down at him, he closed his eyes, ignoring me, i poked him impatiently, 'its close enough, in a blink of the eye we'll be there, now go away and let me sleep' he muttered drowsily, i looked up towards where leeteuk was seated, and saw that he had leaned back in the chair, fast asleep, i looked back down at the man in my lap, and tentatively reached to touch his hair, hand shaking, i touched a stray lock and tucked it behind his hair, i couldnt help but just sit and stare for what felt like forever, my phone suddenly rand echoing, the sound bouncing off the interior of the car, eunhyuk jolted awake, half asleep eyes staring at me, obviously annoyed, i smiled awkwardly and grabbed my phone, 'mianhae' i whispered before answering the phone

'annyong haseyo' i whispered into the phone.

'hyoyeon ah where are you guys'

'jessica, um well............i dont know' i chuckled, jessica obviously not finding it funny

'hyoyeon ah' she said coldly

'sica i really dont know where we are????'

'THEN AS THE DRIVER OR THE OPPAS!!!!' she exploded, i removed the phone from my ears momentarily deaf

'aigoo, hyunjoo oppa, are we almost at ous destination'

'yes about 5 minutes, we should be there, mianhae, i had to take a different route, i explained to leeteuk shi beforehand'he answered eyes never leacing the road

'araso, 5 more minutes, he had to take a different route'

'araso' she said cooly before hanging up, i looked outside and saw a large cottage some distance away,

'oppa, oppa, wake up, were here" shaking his shoulder, he turned his head away, ignoring me, i shoved him hard and he rolled off my lap and landed on the car floor , the car suddenly stopped, i could hear him groaning confused on what just happened,

'leeteuk oppa, were here' i said getly shaking his shoulder, he nodded and opened the car door, i looked down and saw eunhyuk glaring at me

'why'

'why is there so much of a difference in the way you woke up hyung and me' he said rubbing his head as he got up off the floor and back on the seat,

'because i dont like you' i said before getting out of the car and saw leeteuk waiting on us, eunhyuk stepped out after me and closed the door

'aigoo everyone is probably annoyed' said leeteuk he said shoving his hands in his pocket, i nodded in agreement

as we neared the cottage we saw various people spread all over the area, members of DBSK and super junior were there and the future members of sonyuhsidae, it was littered with handsome and beautiful people, eunhyuk suddenly wrapped his arm around my shoulder,

'you like it' he asked 'yes' i simply said amazed by the lovely scenery

'their here' i heard someone say and we were suddenly being greeted by numrous persons, jessica pulled me out of eunhyuk's hold with a pionted look directedd at the monkey, his eyes widened with mock innocence

'hyoyeon ah, taeyeon wants your help in preparing dinner' she said sweetly

'she asked you didnt she, and i thought we came here to play'

'no, we are just seasoning the food so we have time to play when its dinner time, it will done in a jiffy' i sighed

'araso' we entered the kitchen, with taeyeon, sunny and yuri bussling about

'hyoyeon ah thank god your hear could need the help' she said relieved,

'some people are just no use' the comment directed at jessica but she had already left room

'what do you guys want me to do?'

'what took you guys so long' asked junsu,

'driver had to take another route ' leeteuk answered, 'where are the girls'

'in the cottage' he nodded before making his way over there, i noticed the frown on his face

'whats wrong with you'

' taeyeon kicked me out of the kitchen, im taking up space'

'your saying it like its a lie' i said
