Jongkook fidgeted with the bouquet of roses he was holding. He ran his fingers over the smooth rose petals unconsciously again and again, thinking only of Jihyo. Today was her birthday, and on what better day could he have chosen to propose?

He stared at that deep blue velvet box which held the delicate ring. He was nervous. He was quite sure Jihyo would say yes, but he was nervous, all the same.

"Oppa!" That melodious voice rang out, catching his attention. There she was, walking towards him. His breath hitched in his throat.

"Jihyo. You look beautiful." He smiled.
