RECORD ON THE LYMPHATICUS EXAMINIS CONDITION

7/13/18: Numerous citizens have turned into creatures craving human flesh. The source of this strange catastrophe is deemed to be caused by a mutant virus, a result of extreme human pollution. All remaining citizens were advised to stay indoors or military- protected zones and to avoid dark areas. If bitten by the infected, report to the temporary hospital immediately.
The president issued the SWAT team to quarantine these monster- turned humans, and to get rid of them if possible.
Traits of the Infected:
- bite marks, most frequently on the neck or near the collarbones.
-red pupils
-bright red rashes with notable bumps
-loud /screeching 

9/20/18: The area of Kwangju surrendered to infection, and the military quarantined the zone. All survivors were forbidden to enter the area.

12/19/18: Busan was quarantined. Entry is forbidden.

3/20/19: Seoul was highly enforced in terms of security levels due to the existence of government headquarters and the number of survivors who reside in the area.

8/11/19: Owning a gun/weapon is now legal for self-defense.

6/18/20: The government had started a secret project in finding a cure for this virus. The virus is labelled as Lymphaticus Exanimis, its name derived from the latin roots that mean insane dead

8/4/21: First experiment of the cure on Subject I, II,  and III has failed. The subjects' immune systems were unresponsive to the supposed antidote, and there were no imminent changes or effects after dosing. The rashes on the subjects' skin has worsened, and through neuroimaging it became evident that the virus had conquered half of their brains. It seems as if their time is near....
Meanwhile, a revolt group called the Demonstratives have been causing troubles in the city.

10/23/22: Second operation of the project has also failed. Though the first cure seemed to have slowed down the brain infection process, it worsened the pain and symptoms of the subjects. At first, the second serum seemed to miraculously tone down the subjects' red rashes. However, the second dose of the cure was fatal; they coughed blood and complained of excruciating agony.
When the scientists were observing the subjects' bodies, it was found that the cure was quite acidic, or too acidic for the human body to handle. Subjects I and II utterly failed to recover, and moved on to the complete infection stage, causing the research team to eliminate them from the project.

12/11/23: Third section of the secret project has failed. Although new subjects were recruited, the third supposed cure was terminated due to possible effects of explosion, which would be lethal to safekeep in the laboratory if the government was to conduct any future research.
The scientists are considering on creating a program to find the immune, if there are any.

3/29/24: Project is closed. The current governor is issuing a request on futher enforcement of the security of Seoul, and the execution of any Demonstrative members.
The SWAT team lead commander has reported that a man by the name of Luhan is suspected to be the chief leader of the Demonstratives.



 

Byun Baekhyun is a skilled survivor trying to hunt for supplies in the debris of Seoul.
Kim Taeyeon is his partner, who is equally as skilled as he, but also more merciful.
Baek Sumin is the main part of 'the deal'.

A post-apocalypse story inspired by the background of The Last Of Us. Enjoy reading, and leave feedback if you'd like!  I'd love to hear it.
