More Than One
Description
"Morning, Hakyeon," Wonshik said, abruptly yawning. "What's happening?"
"Well, that was rude," The older officer made a slightly peeved face at Wonshik's yawn, before continuing "Not much. Except that the boss has assigned us a case."
"That counts as something. A new case already?"
"Well, not exactly," Hakyeon's face became rigid in some discomfort, holding a folder over to Wonshik. "What do you mean?" Wonshik grabbed the folder warily, eyeing Hakyeon momentarily before looking inside.
"It's been re-opened."
Wonshik took a moment to respond, freezing as he read over the first page of the case. He checked the date several times, re-reading the details of the case several times. He finally squeezed out a reply, tinted with anxiety.
"He's given us a cold case?"
Foreword
I was meant to be working on a different detective story but this one started instead. I warn you, don't expect too much in the way of anything. It's just couple police men running after a serial killer (not chilling, lamely). I'll try make it enjoyable, though. Promise! xx
