The Roadie

Description

She likes getting lost.

He hates going nowhere.

This is a story of two souls, in search for identity, their destinations in life, and love.

Foreword

Twenty-year-old Min Hyosun was a messed up kid in a messed up life. She has a strained relationship with her mother; a sweet-talking man talked her into engagement then leaving her weeks before the wedding, and her job is killing her. The only lights in her life are her best friend, Chaeyoung, and the pleasure of riding trains after a long day at work. Often, she’ll stop at random stations and walk around for a bit before going home for real.

Twenty-three-year-old Kim Joonmyeon was a man with a plan. A fresh graduate from SNU, he found a white-collar job and has finally moved out from his large family house to a house just for himself. The only perks are his next-door neighbors, who are constantly fighting and disrupting his sleeping plans. Sure, it affects his mood at work, and often, he has to get up at night and stop the two women from biting each other’s heads off, but overall, it was a good life.

Two young people. Two different paths. Two different worlds. It’s unlikely these two will intersect at some point, right?

Wrong.

When a runaway plan and a business trip cross paths, the adventure begins. Both begins to question their purpose in life, what they wishes to do, and about the most beautiful thing God has created to humans: the feeling of love.
