Have you ever wondered what an eclipse is? Scientifically, it is when the moon blocks the sun, hence, cutting off the only natural light source for the planet Earth. But there is a much deeper meaning, hidden within the ancient texts of mythology. The sun and moon were lovers, but were separated. By what, no one knew. Only during an eclipse, could they meet and kiss. There is an allusion of this in Chinese mythology, where two lovers were separated by their parents. Only during a specific time of the year, the birds would build a bridge in the sky so they could meet. Just like these two tragedies, Tao and Kris were never meant to be together.
