You paced back and forth waiting for Yongguk to come back quickly from dance practice. You rubbed your belly slowly.

 

“Don’t worry, he’ll be here soon.” You said calmingly. “We can’t wait to see you.” You heard a car honk and knew it was him. You grabbed your purse and headed out the door, Yongguk greeted you half way.

 

“Hey, you shouldn’t walk too fast. It may harm the baby.” He kissed your forehead and held your hand as he escorted you to the car. You couldn’t  help but giggle.

 

“How sweet, but you need to do all your sweet stuff when the baby gets bigger.”

 

“That I will, I'm just getting a head start.” He helped you in the car and buckled up your seat belt.

 

You were both excited and nervous for your first ultrasound, but Yongguk’s voice calmed your nerves.

 

“I was thinking that we should get a new car soon, this sports car may not be suitable for our baby. And oh, I got some books along the way; we need to prep on taking care of the baby. Last thing, I’m going to take you to baby yoga, they say it’s good for and the baby.” He looked at you and gave that adorable gummy smile.

 

“And this is why I’m so glad I have you.”

 

“You’ll always have me.”

You and Yongguk arrived at the doctor’s office for the sonogram. You were greeted by the doctor and escorted inside.

 

“Alright, lie down and get comfortable.” Yongguk helped you lie down on the table and he carefully pulled up your loose shirt.

 

“I can’t wait to see you!” He rubbed your belly lovingly.

 

“Alright ma’am I’m going to put this gel on your belly. It’s going to act like a  conductor for the sound waves of the ultrasound, basically it’s going to help so we can see the baby. You and Yongguk both nodded and Yongguk  held your hand as the doctor started the ultrasound. You felt the cool gel against your belly but your focus was entirely to the monitor. “Do you feel any discomfort at all?”

 

“No doctor, I feel fine.” You glance over at Yongguk and saw his eagerness to see the baby.

 

“Ah, there we go. Your womb looks very healthy and well. And, I see a little heart beat. Do you see it?” The doctor points at the screen, Yongguk squeezes your hand tightly. “Oh?”

 

“What is to doctor?” Yongguk sounded worried.

 

“Well, looks like you guys are going to be busy parents.” The doctor smiled and point at the monitor. “Do you see that? It’s another heartbeat, congratulations you are having twins!” You bursted into tears, you glanced beside you and saw Yongguk standing aside with his back turned.

 

“Honey?”

 

“I’ll leave you two alone for a moment, excuse me.” The doctor smiled at you and left the room.

 

“Yongguk, please turn around.”

 

“I don’t...I don’t want to see you like this.” His voice was raspy.

 

“Come on Yongguk please! I need you.” You reached out to him even though he standing far from you. He slowly turned around, his nose and eyes were red. He wiped his tears and came towards you holding your hand tightly.

 

“I just can’t believe it. I”m so happy right now.” He kissed the back of your hand. “I promise to take care of you and I’ll do whatever it takes to be with you.”

 

“I believe you baby. Looks like twins run in the family huh?”

 

“Looks like it.” He giggled and looked at the monitor. “I’ll make sure they don’t turn into little rascals like how me and my brother were.”

 

“Well, the rascal I have turned out to be pretty good. And did I mention he’s damn y too?” You winked at him making him blush.

 

“Ya, watch what you’re saying! The babies will hear you.”

 

“Oh come on, I’m showing the babies how much I love their Daddy. Now you aren’t going to show Mommy some love?” He smiled and leaned in giving you a soft kiss on your lips.

 

“Mm, see kids this is how much your Daddy loves your Mommy.

 

“I really do.” He slowly rubs your belly.

 

“This belly is going to get bigger, will you still love me even when I get big?”

 

“Of course I will. I will love you through it all.” He kissed your belly and kissed you again.

 

“I love you Yongguk.”

 

“I love you too..”
