Wu's Family OTP12

Description

The cool night air crept over Wu's back. For years he'd been doing this but finally he got found out. He stepped in from the balcony and crossed to his bed. On days like this he grew weary of the fact that he had to hide who he really was...or what he was. The moon crept slowly into his bedroom. Soon it would happen. The moon would take over and the he'd become who he really was. Lost in the shadow of his thoughts a slight crack in his kitchen broke his deep concentration. There it was the sight of all his misery, all his pain... "Fera...”

"Why are you here?"

"OOhh Wu darling don't treat me like that, it makes me so sad. Sad enough to break my icy heart." Wu crossed over to Fera she was apart the reason. The reason everything had gone wrong. She was his reason to leave... He had to.. to keep them safe.

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!” Fera crossed over to Wu and gently ran her hands along the side of his unshaven face. He had gotten rugged. Since he no longer faced the crowd he had no reasons to care.. (care to shave in the very least) He clutched her wrist and threw her hands to her side. "I SAID GET OUT!" She could hear the resentment in his words, see the hate and anger in his face and now being so close to him, she could feel the pain his heart.

"OOoh get over it, they would have died and you would have outgrown them anyways. That’s the life of a vampire..." There it was the word he dreaded to hear the most, vampire. For countless centuries he had been proud to be a vampire, to have unending youth and power. Now he hated himself more than he hated chicken. He detested the fact that he was soulless, unable to maintain lasting relationships or even find love. But it hadn't bothered him, so why now..?

"This is the last time FERA, GET OUT!"

"You called my name, it's being a while, and it still sounds delightful on your tongue." Wu traced into his bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed. Fera's words trigged the thoughts he didn't want to face. The thought of his boys. Two years had passed but to him it felt like two thousand. Never had Wu experienced such happiness than when he was with his boys or rather yet his family. Now they were but a memory. To him a pleasant passing one but to them he was a traitor, one who left without an explanation. But he couldn't tell them the reason. If he had they would have been in danger. Fera trailed slowly behind.

"It was for the best...you know you win some you lo….

"GET OUT!" Anger welled up inside Wu. His eyes turned crimson red, a large contrast to their normal hazel. Fangs bared he held Fera by the throat and pinned her against the wall. Fera knew Wu could easily kill her, she knew she shouldn't tempt nor taunt him. Yet she constantly did it. Fera’s skin began to grow pale. With his last will Wu released her neck and she slid to the floor gasping for air. He punched the wall and created a crater.

With a cynical expression Fera grated "Before you kill me, I have a message from Aros...”

"Keep it...”

"Is this how you treat family..? You call that set of worthless mortals family but you neglect your flesh and blood?" Wu clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. Fera wasn't worth the killing. Her death wouldn’t bring any of his 11 boys back.

"Aros is not my family!" Aros was Wu's only serving blood brother. Born from a royal family they both wanted different things ,Aros wanted the crown but Wu wanted a real life. But since Wu was the eldest he was in line for the throne.

"You can't deny it, blood is blood literally. Plus that mark makes you indistinguishable." Wu glanced at the dragon tattoo on his arm. He dreaded seeing it, but it was a family heirloom. Marking the line of kings. His father had it so did his father's father and so on.

“Why does he want to see me?" He knew the reason. Aros wanted to ask him to give up the bloodline crown.

"Come back with me and you'll find out"

"I have no interest in following you." A slight ringing interrupted the tense atmosphere (Na eureureong eureureong eureureong dae- *growl by exo*) "You're ring tone is growl?"

"Your useless mortals have some talent...” Fera snapped her sat phone up and quickly answered. "Okay.... okay... I understand." "It's for you." Fera threw the sat phone in Wu's direction. He caught it effortless with one hand and casually placed it to his ear.

Aros: "Brother it's been a while! Ho.."

Wu: Cut the crap Aros what do you want?"

Aros: My brother impatient as always. Let's meet brother, I have something to discuss."

Wu: I have nothing to say to you. Goodbye" Before Wu could hang up the phone Aros interrupted.

Aros: “I thought you would be like this so I have some encouragement for you. (Speak!) Wu could hear as though something was shuffling in the background and someone was muttering something. "Kris...!"

Instantly Wu was crippled with fear. He knew that voice anywhere. It was the most familiar voice he knew, one he had come to love. His best friend Tao.

Wu: "Tao!"

Aros: "I knew you would be like this brother so I got you some encouragement, if you don't want to be responsible for the death of anyone of these mortals, let's meet."

Wu threw the sat phone to the ground. He knew exactly where Aros was and what he would do if he didn’t show up. He quickly threw on a jacket and traced to Aros' location.

"Hey.. what abo..." Fera screamed but Wu was already long gone.

"Who are you?" Tao muttered "And where is Kris?"

"Your questions will be answered soon enough" Aros heard rattling upstairs, he knew his brother had arrived. "That was fast"

"What's going on? Tao asked. Aros was about to answer when Wu burst the wooden doors open.

"Brother!" Wu traced over to Aros and held him by the throat.

"What is the meaning of this?"

“Be careful brother, you wouldn't want to frighten your ‘family’. How absurd, a pair of mortals." Wu let Aros don't gently. None of the 11 members had a clue about  what Wu really was. "That's better brother, now let's be civil about this."

"Let them go! They have nothing to do with this!" Wu tried to keep his rage caged.

"No no brother, if I let them go then you'll have no reason to be here."

"Ben ben." A weak voice uttered from behind, Wu could realized it was Luhan. It broke his heart. A few monrhs ago they were happily making memories. Now they were here.

"LET THEM GO AROS! I'm the one you need!"

"Oh brother come now. You're spoiling all the fun"

"What do you want?"

"Well that was anticlimactic...” Aros was pulling Wu's strings. He wanted Wu to show them who he really was. That was his plan take everything from Wu then he would have no choice but to beg Aros. But Wu was aware of his intentions.

"Tell me what you want, I'll do it, in return let them go."

"Give me your head and we'll call it a day." Rage rising Wu could not contain it any longer. He grabbed Aros by the collar and threw him a punch, and then he peeled him off the floor and threw him across the room.

"Dear brother I tried to be civil but must you persist on violence?”  Wu traced to Aros and picked him up. He threw him another punch and was about to launch the other when Aros blocked him and returned the punch.

"Kris!" Tao shouted. The members watched in horror as Aros gave Wu punch after punch. When had he gotten this weak? That's right he hadn't fed in a while. As a result he was weaker than usual. A few gruesome moments passed and Aros had Wu pinned on the ground. He unsheathed a large sword which he kept in the hilt on his back. Wu's head rolled to the side. He saw the look of bewilderment on the faces of his friends. He shut is glowing crimson eyes in shame. Aros had a foot to his throat.

"Brother, before you die you should at least tell them what you are." Wu refused to look at s. He was at his lowest and his inner monster had been released. Aros slit his wrist and waved his arm near Wu's nose. Wu had though himself over the centuries to refuse blood, only taking what he needed. But now he was weak and thirsty. His fangs leaped and whelped up in want. He heard a whelp escape from one of his friends. Now they had seen who...what he really was. Aros broke out in a throaty laugh. He had accomplished what he needed. Now all he had to do was kill his brother and the crown was his. Wu opened his eyes to face s. His gaze caught Tao. He could barely read his expression, but somehow he made it out. Tao's face could tell he was frightened however not at the fact that his best friend was a supernatural creature, Tao's gaze reassured Wu that he accepted him and that his fear was of him dying. Wu gathered all the remaining strength in his body and flipped Aros from on top of him. Dazed, Aros landed against the wall, his sword fell. Wu picked up the sword and drove it through his brother's heart.  Could he really kill his brother? If he did he would be like him. Wu twisted the blade which left his brother in a paralyzed state. He quickly traced over to the cell which his friends were locked in. He broke the lock with his bare hands. The members hesitated before they approached him. Then Wu fell to the ground. They rushed over and picked him up.

"What do we do?" Tao asked. Flustered and unaware of what exactly to do the members started to worry. Then Chanyeol shouted "Blood!  He’s a vampire so maybe he needs blood." Tao scanned the room for anything sharp; he found a small shard of glass. He quickly severed the layer of skin in his palm and placed his wrist to Wu's mouth. Slowly the trickles of blood flowed into Wu's mouth as the started to regain consciousness. He slowly opened his eyes and saw his friends kneeling above him. He tried to scoot away but Suho and Kai held him.

"It's ok Kris" At that moment Wu realized s didn’t care what he was, they were only happy to see him and at that moment he had been re-united with his family.
