Looking left and right, the nervous me speedily took random magazines from the shelves and stuffed them into my small brown bag.

In this poor shop with not many visitors, there is no surveillance cameras, enabling me to do whatever I want. The bookshop is monitored by only one person, but the owner is always playing his mobile phone, making things much more easier for me as always.

Satisfied, I smirked and walked casually out of the shop, muttering under my breath, "Gained much more things than yesterday, great." Whistling on my way out, I thought the daily cycle of me reaching home safely would repeat, but I was wrong.

An unknown man covered my mouth from behind and pinned my hands to my back, his strength was incredibly strong, causing my struggles to be futile. I was dragged along to where he was heading against my will.

In the blink of eye, I was already in a dark alley, nobody was there, other than the two of us. I panted due to the earlier struggles and was too weak to stay standing. "Thump!" My hit the floor and I remained sitting while I looked up at the guy. "Wha......" I was shocked to find out that it was the game addict, the owner of that bookshop.

He stared at me from above, with a cold pair of blue eyes and his blond hair being shone bright under the sun, staying silent.

"Wha... What do you want from me?" I gulped down my saliva and asked in a shivering voice while I looked down on the floor, waiting for his answer.

"How many of my books do you think you have taken? The amount won't be able to be counted using two hands you know." He replied. I sensed neither anger nor frustration in his monotone voice, but when I looked up, the change in him freaked the hell out of me.

"You..... Your.... Eyes... What happened....?" Frightened, I questioned him in a trembling voice as I looked hard at his crimson eyes. They were blue, weren't they? What the heck is this?!

"Hmmm... I wonder what happened..." He answered, smirking. The guy bit his thumb hard enough till it bled. He was the same type of blood which dripped onto my cheeks from above.

Unknowingly, somewhere in the process when he was drinking his own blood, the color of his blond hair had already faded. And now, scarlet.

I see that he had teeth which were quite sharp as he continued tasting his blood in front of me. But it didn't seem like any normal teeth.

It seemed familiar to me. I couldn't recall anything until I was reminded by a television show I watched last night. "What......"  I gasped and leaned my back against the wall closely, until not one portion of my back wasn't sticked to the wall.

"Vam... Vampi....re?" I mumbled to myself, but it seemed like he heard it. I bit my lips as I took a glance at his wide grin.
