Howon and RiHye did not marry out of love, but of a deal. RiHye had always has a thing for Howon ever since she saw him in college. He knew that and he took advantage of it. When Howon graduated from college, his parents wanted him to marry and take over the Lee Coorperation. At first they would just set blind dates for him. As time goes by they became more desperate and told him if he doesn't find a girl to marry by the end of the month, they would settle him in an arranged marriage. A few days after that, Hoya coincidentally met RiHye again at a college classmate's masquerade reunion party. Howon didn't know it was RiHye he was hooking up with in the beginning. It wasn't until somebody accidently pushed her and when Howon caught hold of her, her mask slip off that Howon realized who she was.

Of course RiHye knew the boy under the mask was Howon all along. I mean, how could she not after all the years of being mesmerized by his dark orbs. But anyways, back to the main point. After the reunion, Howon offered to sent RiHye home. Along the way, Howon thought that RiHye could help him in the marriage his parents are pushing him into. RiHye unconditionally said yes. She would help him. There was just one minor rule with the plan.

Ma RiHye CANNOT fall in love with Lee Howon.

As we all know, we can't control what our heart says. We can't help who we love. After the marriage, the couple use seperate rooms. They only slept together the first night to avoid Howon's parents checking on them. Howon took over the Lee Coorperation and had became very busy. RiHye would sometimes go to work with him and act like they are in love in front of others to prevent any suspicions or questions. Although Howon has no feeling toward RiHye, after work he would go home or sometimes go out with his best friends, Infinite at most. He at least has the least respect toward RiHye to not cheat behind her back. It wasn't until one year after the marriage that Howon grew tired of being a good boy and secretly had a night stand with a random girl at a club. Apparently, RiHye found out about it after Howon went home with another woman's perfume on. She didn't ask and he didn't say, but they both know.

Howon had been contacting the girl since that day. RiHye became distinct. She wouldn't talk to him if not necessary. She is afraid that she would ask about the girl and ruin her relationship with him. After more than 6 months of enduring, RiHye couldn't take it anymore. Howon wouldn't love her back and she had enough of seeing him smile like he had the world when the girl called him. Right on the night RiHye had planned to talk with Howon about it, he came home drunk mumbling how he was just another game, that that girl cheated on him in front of his face, that RiHye might leave him, too.

For a second in the 2 years of marriage, RiHye felt loved. Howon was scared that she might leave him. That night, RiHye said Howon's name over and over again. Every Howon gave her was full of hatred, force, and yet loving and heavenly at the same time. Every RiHye felt, she thought that maybe the millions of pieces of her heart can seal back together again. Howon didn't remember what happened that night. (He became cold toward Lee Hye thinking that she would leave him like the girl.) He didn't realized RiHye was pregnant until he pushed her on the floor one day out of frustration and saw blood running down her thigh.

After the miscarriage, Howon's mother had been nagging about how RiHye should have told her about having a baby, so it wouldn't had gotten a miscarriage. She blamed her for not being careful enough without knowing that it was her son that caused the miscarriage. The couple didn't say anything about the miscarriage not being an accident. The parents didn't ask, the couple didn't say, but they know.. When RiHye got discharged from the hospital, she went to find apartments for rent. She lied to Howon about her discharged time and by the time he got to the hospital, she was gone.

When RiHye got home, it was already 10P.M. She thought Howon would be sleeping so she didnt bother to open the lights. Little did she know that Howon was in her room waiting for her. "Where did you go?" Howon asked her worriedly. RiHye didn't reply, but instead took out her suitcase and started packing her personal items into it. "I want to moved out for a while. I want to take a break from this." Howon understands exactly what she meant. Before he could said he would go with her, RiHye interrupted him. ' I want to be alone."

It had been weeks since RiHye moved out. Employees in the Lee Coorperation became curious at why their boss doesn't have homemade breakfast anymore. His clothes are wrinkled like they haven't been washed for days. He looks like he haven't shave for years. One day after work, Howon's secretary knocked on his door. "Young Mr. Lee, here are the documents you need to sign by tomorrow morning", she said. "Thank you, you may go." Seeing that she is not moving Howon looked up from his computer. "Is there anything else?" "Oh. No. Nothing. I was just wondering why haven't Young Mrs. Lee come visit these days. She used to come very often and make you smile. I'll get going now. Have a nice day Young Mr. Lee." Hearing that RiHye had been making him smile, Howon started to realize how much he missed his wife. It is true that they started with a deal, but they have been together for a little more than 2 years, if he say he doesn't have even a bit of feelings toward RiHye, that is not very likely.

Realizing an important fact, Howon called his personal detective to ask where RiHye is. He gathered all his information and ran out of the company to RiHye's apartment without bothering to get his car. Upon hearing the doorbell, RiHye weakly get up to open the door. She looked up and made contact with the person she least expected. "No. Hear me out first", he said as she attempted to close the door. RiHye turned her back facing him waiting for him to continue. When he made sure she's listening, he begin,"I remember. I remember how our baby was created. I remember holding you, kissing you... making love to you. The way you you looked at me, the way you felt insecure, how you wrapped your arms around me tightly. I remember how you called me name over and over again. I remember you said you love me. It was all blurry but I remember. I ran here to tell you... I love you, too." "It's all a lie." RiHye thought herself and moved a step forward attempting to close the door again. Howon grab hold of her hand. "I know I never told you that before, but please.. believe me". Clearing telling him she doesn't believe him, RiHye attempt to close the door for the three time when Howon kneel down. "I'm sorry. I regret. I didn't cherish you. I didn't protect you. I left you for someone else. I made you endure seeing me with another. You believed me when you know I was lying. You have been with me all this time. I made you handle all the blame and suffer then our baby died." She couldn't take it anymore. It's too much to handle. She peels her hand away from his only for him to hold on tighter. He got up and put her into his embrace with her back facing his chest. "Is it too late to start over? Is it too late to love you.. I'll change. I promised. I won't hurt you again. Let me love you..."

They stayed like that for a moment. All you could hear was their heavy breathing while tears rolled down their cheeks. "Um.. Excuse me..", Someone behind them said breaking their moment. RiHye wiped her tears quickly and turned around. "Delivery". "Oh. Sorry give me a minute", RiHye pulled away from Howon and walked in her apartment to get her wallet and payed for the curry she ordered. Howon stood in the same position unmoved. After the delivery boy was gone, RiHye closed the door after pulling Howon in softly. That doesn't means she forgive him, but she wouldn't denied that she still loves him with all the broken pieces of her heart.

Fate had been playing with them. They went through may difficulties together, but clearing it wasn't enough. Rihye had to lose her baby, her body, her soul, her heart to catch up with her world, the one and only Lee Howon. All she had in return was him pushing her away and her to lose her baby that represent the minimum percent of his love for her. A person can only hold so much in place. Right when RiHye is slowly giving up, Howon told her he love her. Time. That's all it takes for she to accept him again. She had been stabbed, burned to ashed, she's hurt and healing ever so slowly.

Question is... Will Howon still be waiting for her when she's ready? Will RiHye be able to go back to the past and start with him all over again?

Done.. Now that I read it again,, it feels really awkward.. Yesterday 11/16/13 was INFINITE's OGS in New York. I had beening nagging my mom since they announce that they will come to NY to let me go to the concert. I finally got the tickets, she finally let me go and BAM! THE TICKET ARE GONE.. I didn't get to tell Hobaby I love him...
