“Chanyeol. My name is Chanyeol,” He replied, a big bright smile taking up half of his face before asking, “And you are?”

“Hyemi. Its lovely to meet you, Chanyeol but may I ask what on earth you’re running away from that’s so horrible you had to hide in an ice cream shop for?”

He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, letting out a nervous chuckle, “It’s a pretty boring story actually. Funny but boring.” It was obvious he was trying to avoid the question with the way he was trying to distract himself with adjusting and readjusting his Supreme snapback on his head.

“Well, what a relief, I love boring stories,” I remarked. “Especially when I’m supposed to be me wiping down tables,” I muttered as I began with yet another mundane job, spraying cleanser and water onto the table next to Chanyeol’s and wiping it down with a clean rag.

I looked at him expectantly as he pulled out his fancy smartphone, checking for the time before his eyes met mine. He let out an awkward smile and I couldn’t help but think if there was nothing this boy did that wasn’t adorably awkward. He cleared his throat again before answering, “Uhm, I was being chased… by drug dealers and muggers. Yup, yeah and I needed somewhere to hide so I could lose them.”

I stopped what I was doing, straightening up my back and offering him a skeptical look, “You know, I’ve heard celebrities call their fans some pretty ed up but drug dealers and muggers? That’s pretty harsh.”

The way his face fell was a little comical, “Oh, so you know who I am?”

“It’s not hard to deduce who you are considering your concert’s been in the news for weeks now. And you’re like, six feet tall with red hair. And Korean. Oh and your jacket has your name on it.”

Okay, hi! I'm Belle and this is my first ever fanfic for the EXO/KPOP fandom so please please be kind to me. If I get things wrong, do not hesitate to let me know!

This story is very greatly inspired by another story I've read for another fandom--I just wrote an EXO version of a story called 'Damn This Wild Young Heart', so I am not taking full credit for the plot. I've decided to write about Chanyeol considering he's my EXO-K bias and that there is a serious shortage of Chanyeol/OC fic around here. And opposite him is the excruciatingly beautiful Bae Suzy. And one thing you've got to know about me is that I love me some Chanzy. This'll be a short story, I guess. Maybe only 10 to twelve chapters in total so I hope to finish it quicky and to update frequently for all of you! So I don't really know what else to say, so I'll leave it at that.

I hope you enjoy this story as much as I enjoy writing it so far!
