Everything was fading as if the world had slowed to a stand-still and he was left alone to watch his life wither away. Why, how, where are you going? These questions filled the boy's head as his eyes welled up with salty water. More confused and hurt than ever, Tao took a few steps forward with his arm stretched in the direction that his best friend had gone in, leaving him behind. As he watched his friend walk completely out of sight, a cry sounded from Tao's red, swollen lips. Finally, the tears building up in his eyes fell down his cheeks, leaving a trail of fresh mascara. Sometime throughout his tantrum, Tao said in a shaky voice, "I love you Wu Fan.."
