azzling beauty, rosy cheeks, she’s the hint of gold in between a thousand roses. She’s surreal, morphed, the sight of heaven and the prettiest someone would ever see.

Looking over at her gorgeous and bright reflection on the shine of her eyes and the purple wavy highlighted hair strands, vintage traces of floral curvy lines resembling the beauty and naturalism of Art Noveau, there she is, challenging and beautiful, bright colors and flowers surrounding her. She’s swimming on the purity of the roses she has been painted with. That was how people would describe Surrender, 2012, a technique of manipulated photography, oil, watercolor and ink on canvas whose author was, nobody but a newbie Korean painter and photographer, Kim Jungwoo.

Her name is Song Soohee, the girl whose cousin, Kim Yuhwan, convinced to meet a famous Korean painter called Kim Jungwoo, his friend, stating that the main character of his canvas are actually a lot like her - except that, just like her cousin, she has piercing dimples.

She appears from the moment Yuhwan sets a meeting for Soohee and Jungwoo at a café nearby his studio. She is new in Seoul and it's her first time there. She's slightly older than Yuhwan, being 23 years old yet looking more youthful.

That is Kim Jungwoo, a respected and famous, 24-year-old painter whose canvas consist of feminine figures, represented unnaturally, using the support of ink, manipulated photography, collage and other resources. The messages behind his paintings usually are reflections of his own that most people would never picture. 

Jungwoo becomes a hot spot in art from the moment he is recognized due to a painting he named 'Surrender' with a girl whose body becomes a degrading bouquet, that Kim Yuhwan recognizes as being exactly like his cousin Soohee.

Born Kim Yuhwan, he is a 22-year-old dance major from University who owns a dance studio with his two roommates, giving dancing classes to pay their own rent and studies. He is not from Seoul originally, and, when he founds about Kim Jungwoo's paintings, he makes sure to let his cousin know right ahead.

Yuhwan's specialty in dancing is breakdance and acrobatics but he teaches other genres too, and their dance students love to have him as a teacher. He secretly has a homoual love interest on his roommate, Oh Sungjong.

His name is Oh Sungjong and he is a 22-year-old dance major from University. He shares his house with Kim Yuhwan, his roommate, and Choi Sungmin, another dance major who is a freshman so far. To pay bills, he also works as a dance teacher, alongside the other two. He pacts with Yuhwan to keep food away from the younger male's sight - Sungmin.

He doesn't have a dance specialty so he tries to teach his dancing students what they attended for the best he can, based on his skills. To improve, he trains with Yuhwan. That way he developed a love interest for him.

Named Woo Jiseok, he is a close friend of Jungwoo, since both work with inks and brushes. Jiseok in fact is a cartoonist who works on characters for cartoons and video games, bringing them to life on paper.

Him being newly married made the others aware that he didn't spend as much time with his friends on their habitual meeting spot, making them think why and making of him a constant topic of conversation. He is 24-years-old, being the oldest alongside Jungwoo - sharing a two days gap from each other's birthdays. His wife appears at times with him.

These are Shin Jongkook and Park Sejoon, both 21. They are two roommates that are said to be like siamese twins who'd never put apart from each other. Even so, Jongkook is a talented violinist and pianist, majoring on composition and music, meanwhile Sejoon is lost on what he'd take has his University major, switching courses and ideas like someone replaces a shirt.

Despite that, they are good friends of Jungwoo and the others, and sidekick with them whenever it's needed.

A boy whose name was Choi Sungmin, he was a whiny 20-year-old that has a special interest on 'bullying' Jiseok most of the time since he finds it amusing and he looks at Jiseok like a big brother. He is a lady killer dancer major freshman on University and a dance teacher on a studio he shares with his roommates Yuhwan and Sungjong.

A little rebel at times, Sungmin steals food or eats it all by himself or leaves it all over the house, having his roommates hiding food from him.
