Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near
Just like me, they long to be close to you

I looked up from my book and saw you walking this way. I smiled as you smiled at me while the birds flew to the sky. Like this, yes, just like this I want to be close to you like this. But it's just a dream. You didn't smile at me you smiled pass me, but it's okay because still I was close to you.

Why do stars fall down from the sky
Every time you walk by
Just like me, they long to be close to you

I look around for you as everybody gather around the blanket waiting for the big moment to happen. I saved an open spot next to me for you to sit and watch it close with me. As soon as you appeared in my view the star came falling down. You quickly ran to the blanket and sat where I patted at. You pouted a little for missing the first star but it was okay. Because now that you're here more will fall trying to be close to you.

On the day that you were born the angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair of gold
And starlight in your eyes of blue.

I was so happy when I caught a glimpse of your baby picture. The angels did a work of art. I looked from the picture then to you then back at the picture. They gave you golden hair and eyes of the morning blue sky. You're a masterpiece to behold. Oh, how I wish just for one night to be close to you.

They all think just like me. They want to be close to you too. Your honey smile attracts all the bees in their nest. Your glowing blue eyes can calm down even the wildest of creatures.
