Squishy’s back, yay! For some reason, the drinks Squishy prepares always have an added sweetness in them. Did he have some kind of magic ingredient? Or was it just because I knew that he was the one who prepared them?

And I must be getting bolder by the day. What was I thinking when I gave that (witty) reply and initiated that (sweet) subtle skinship? Well, at least he reacted in a good way (I think).

“Hey, you weren’t here last Friday.”

“Yeah, I fell sick, but I’m here now! So, Oreo Cappuccino?”

“Yep. You know, the Oreo Cappuccino you prepare is still the best, the ones prepared by others taste a little different.” I mentally did a face-palm when those words left my mouth.

You didn't have to be so direct, Jihyun!

“Really? Haha what can I say? I’m the best.”

I scrunched up my nose as I gave a shrug. I couldn't deny that fact.

“A little birdy told me that someone was looking for me last week.” He said in the midst of dumping the ingredients into the blender.

“No I wasn't.” I gave a nervous laugh.

“I never said it was you.”

I thought back to his statement. It’s true, he didn't mention that it was me, which basically meant I jumped straight into his trap.

“I mean uh, who was it?” I quickly added, although I knew it wouldn't change the fact that I already exposed myself.

“I don't know, because the little birdy only told me that it was a girl from the school nearby.”

Playing this game huh?

“Well I guess the little birdy should’ve been more specific, eh?”

“I have a few guesses on my list anyway, so I can easily figure it out myself.”

“Oh really? Happy figuring it out then.” I grabbed his hand, turned it, and placed the money on his palm before scooting off with my drink.
