Description
Im Yoona didn’t have a pitch-perfect life where she lives in a million dollar mansion with maids in uniform, breakfast in bed and a filthy rich handsome knight in shining armor to spoil her with Zara, Prada, Gucci and whatnot. Oh no, faith didn’t let her have that kind of luxury. Instead, they settled her in a small yet cozy apartment, with no car, and a boring job as the nurse’s assistant in Gonjiam Mental Institution. Despite her financial status, she had everything she needed to survive. Her life was on track, that is, until a newly transferred patient stumbles into her life and wrecks things up.
Oh Sehun, a man with tantalizingly cold brown eyes, was publicly known to have skinned three women. He was rumored to have lost his mind. Hence, that is how he ended up in Gonjiam Mental Institution, with no one sane enough to talk to, except for one, Im Yoona.
One day at their unexpected encounter, Sehun decides to make a deal with Yoona to prove his sanity and innocence, having her to face him every single day in a game of either Cards or Clue. As days passed in their lives, however, things between the two starts to grow more intense as they shared a powerful bond, a bond which unknowingly unraveled the venomous secrets and shocking mysteries in Gonjiam Mental Institution. Doubtful thoughts started to cross Yoona’s mind as she realizes how normal and sane Sehun really is.

Main Characters:
Im Yoona
A sweet, young curios girl whose currently working in Gonjiam Mental Institution as the head nurse's assistant. Has a love-hate 'relationship' with the well known murderer, Oh Sehun.
Oh Sehun
Might look deadly on the outside, but warm and gentle on the inside. Claimed to be insane by people, but he has a dark secret no one knew.
Xi Luhan
Works as a guard in Gonjiam Mental Institution. Has hidden feelings for Yoona. Never gets along well with Sehun due to his jealousy over the murderer's closeness towards the nurse's assistant.
Foreword
“Hello,” he smiled.
“Hi,” I said quietly. “Umm...” I didn’t really know where to set his meal and felt awkward and intimidated, so I just kind of stood there.
“Here,” he said as he got up and came towards me to get his food. I instinctively took a step backwards so that I was against the wall.
He deeply chuckled at my reaction and came even nearer. I gasped as he got in the closest possible proximity to me, the tray in between us providing only about 10 inches of space from me to him. I had to tilt my head back to see his height looming over mine, his eyes like pools of deep emerald chocolate. There was a smirk plastered on his face as he slid his tongue out and slowly dragged it across his thin lips to wet them.
“Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you.” He spoke his words slowly in a deep, gravelly voice. “What’s your name, love?”
“Yoona.”
He leaned in close. A little too close. I was surprised that he managed to smell good in this musty place. He slowly brought his lips down to my ear and I could feel his hot breath trickling down my neck. It sent shivers through my trembling body. “I’m Sehun,” he breathily whispered.
I just nodded. My heart was racing a million miles a minute. There was a killer with his body inches away from me. There’s no telling what he would do. But to my surprise, he did nothing. Just stood there.
“May I have my food now?” he asked, that smirk still on his face.
I looked down to realize I was still gripping the tray so hard my knuckles were turning white. “S-Sure,” I stuttered as I pushed it towards him and ran out. I could hear a deep chuckle coming from the cell and I quickly walked away, flustered. I was upset that I had cowered away from him. It showed I was weak and vulnerable, and that wasn’t a good way to be around ruthless criminals.
‘Especially a criminal who got sent into an asylum for skinning three women.’ I thought, shuddering at the image.
