Luhan was used to the heartache. His father was one of those nameless men whom his mother only met in the shade of night and Luhan grew up in a small country town of South Korea where rumors flew faster than the birds. It was a miracle how Luhan's mother was able to find a man willing to make an honest woman out of her however it came as no surprise when this "saint" turned out to be the devil himself. Alcohol was Luhan's step-father's weakness, his fists became all too ready when intoxicated and too happy it seemed. Luhan was happy when he finally got away from it all. 

The country. The rumors. The people he had to call his family... He went as far away as he could get. 

But apparently he had not gone far enough Luhan thinks on the night that he is reunited with his estranged step-brother Minseok. 

And the funny thing is? Minseok is left with the decision whether or not Luhan lives or dies.
