Why Can't it be Me?

"Tao" Sehun called sweetly, his hand reaching for the other to take. "Come with me, please?"

Tao shook his head as he hugged his knees and buried his head in between. He was inside his closet, crying. 

"I'm scared", Tao whispered softly.

"I'm here", Sehun whispered as he leaned closer to the scared man and enveloped him into a hug not caring if the space inside the closet is too small for both of them. "I am always here for you, Taozi. I won't leave you"

Tao flinched at the sudden touch but soon relaxed and let the other hug him. "He said the same words to me yet he still left me" 

Sehun sighed, "I'm not him"

"I know but--"

Tao's word was cut off when Sehun suddenly hugged him tighter.

Tao groaned at the tightness. He wanted to push the other away but his whole body is too weak to do it.

"I'm here", Sehun whispered. "I'm here Taozi"

Tao's eyes started to become teary and not soon after, he began to cry loudly.

"Shh...it's okay. Hunnie is here. I won't leave you" Sehun rubbed the other's back, trying to comfort his best friend.

Words escaped from Tao's lips and Sehun closed his eyes, feeling his heart hurt in so much pain. "Don't leave me Kris"

Why?

Why him?

After what he done to you, why still him?

A single tear dropped from Sehun's eye yet his smile remained.

"I will aways be here for you Taozi. Forever"

It's okay....

Even though you don't love me back
