KRYSTAL'S P.O.V

From the start of the day, I didn't feel as upset as I was yesterday - was it because Jongin came back into my life or

knowing that I have someone to rely on with love? I felt quite bittersweet deep inside though and all I could do was

sigh as I felt the breeze rush pass me whilst I make my way to the school entrance - not many were talking about me

now which made me happy in a way but I did notice many girls kept staring at me, I shrugged the thoughts away and

went to the notice board to check the daily posts which were updated everyday. Tip-toeing as it was more crowded

than usual, I peered over people's heads and shoulders trying to catch a glimpse until I see what was actually going on.

Many girls were whispering and gasping at the sight - Kim Jongin?... and Oh Sehun?.

The two were in front of one another with a deadly stare resting upon their faces to each other, that's right - Jongin

was going to enroll here, perhaps him and Sehun know each other somehow? I looked around for a better view and

luckily my other classmate Park Seul Yeon or Lea - if you call her was waiting with her namja chingu from the

kingka group exo Do Kyungsoo. I walked to them and said hello receiving a greeting back. I whispered quietly,

"What's going on with Sehun-si and Jongin?" I asked looking at them with a nosy-like expression. They only looked

at me with a 'do you really wanna know?' face before Lea sighed after getting the approval look from Kyungsoo.

"Um.. Soojung, Jongin and Sehun are frienemies and they are into competition and let's just say you share a /very/

unique relationship with both of them and you may be theh ir target prize -" Lea replied looking down shyly with

Kyungsoo slinging his arm around her lovingly. I just raised my brows quite shocked ' did they think of me as a

prize? how childish could those two get? ' I thought facepalming myself mentally before thanking the loving couple,

before making my way past the students carefully and standing in between the two rivals. They both looked shock

and I could notice their nervous expressions and actions straight away averting their eyes away from mine, to avoid

the intense eye contact. "What are you two doing?" I asked them with the students keeping quiet either pretending

not to listen or gossiping about the whole situation being witnessed.

"Soojung, I-" Sehun was about to speak before Jongin cut him off simply flashing a charming smile to reassure me

there is nothing wrong.

"There isn't anything happening- me and Sehun were just.. catching up - right? we after all knew each other since

we were little boys aged 7 and we're just having a friendly chat" Jongin explained with no hesitation.

I pursed my lips in disbelief "hmm.. why is it I'm not convinced by all of this?" I muttered under my breath in a

quiet tone making sure they didn't hear me. Before anyone could reply the school bell had rang meaning everyone

had to get back to their classes so that's what they did - Jongin ruffled my hair before saying goodbye and 

running off which I just replied with a wave and a monotone like voice. I turned my back to leave the now 

empty area so I wouldn't be late but as I was about to- I felt a light grip on my wrist making me turn around to

make my face bury against someones chest in a gentle way. I froze at the spot not knowing what to do - what

if this was some sort of creepy stalker, I gulped quite worried and looked up.

"Oh Sehun what the h-" I tried to get out of his grip but he only held on tighter which made my wrist hurt slightly

and he pulled me close to make a direct eye contact

"Hear me out. I just wanted to say.." he spoke before releasing a quiet groan "Aish, I'm sorry okay?" and with 

that he just left me there. 'aish that oh sehun, who does he think he is? he made me late now'....

Thankfully my songsaengnim had arrived later than expected because she hung out with her teacher boyfriend named 

'Nickhun' who teaches the school which is a ten minute walk from here, she always tells us randomly that one day he

would propose to her and we always get shocked at the fact he hasn't done so yet since she is such a pleasure to be

around. I just sat by my seat and looked around, so everyone was here except.. YoonA? where was she anyways?

she hasn't replied to any of my messages and she hasn't attended school for 4 days or so now. I turned to Suji whilst

we were doing some math equations and asked her.

"YoonA? well her family said something about going on holiday to Japan for 1 week or so because of some sort of

awards ceremony and all from the last time I visited her house, although YoonA said she wasn't sure about whether

they actually would or not, but I guess we know the answer now hm?" Suji replied resting her elbow against the desk

with her chin at the palm of her hand as she continued to write the answers. I nodded along and turned my gaze back

onto my textbook, she was usually the one who gave me loads of advice since she was older than me by 6 months or

so, how could she not tell me? that Im YoonA, I was awoken from my thoughts when I felt a continuous tapping 

against the desk which I looked up to see Miss Hwang with a note passing it to me.

"They say it's really important and you'll need to go the principals office during lunch today - something about the 

SHA ceremony actually, but I'm unsure to what it's all about, all the details are in this note so don't forget about it

alright?" she assured me and I nodded flashing a faint smile in reply and she went away. I unfolded the note to look

at it inside and read what this whole 'important' business is all about.

to student of class 2A Jung Soojung:

hello, this is the headmaster of SHA speaking and I am glad to inform you that your submission 

to the Seoul Annual Project has been accepted along with 3 other lucky students. You will be 

paired up to produce a final presentation till the SHA ceremony where the winner will be revealed,

any questions or anything you'd like to say would be appreciated if you spoke to me. my door is

always open, thank you for your application and good luck!

SHA ceremony? so that's where it's going to be held this year - how exciting, I wonder who my special partner shall

be, I hope he/she won't be a slacker - pft. of course they wouldn't be - the judges only chose the top students from 

each of the top sets, surely they won't procrastinate as often as they get good grades, right? I honestly pray that this

will be a success, I really need the scholarship - it's a shame that only one of the people from that winning pair wins

it, I hope my partner will see right through me to understand how much it means to me...

SEHUN'S P.O.V

"Oh Sehun, I heard you were one of the lucky 4 chosen for the S.A.P this year, a huge congrats!" one of my good

friends Kim Joonmyeon congratulated with one of his 'prince-like' smiles. I just returned the smile and bowed my head.

He could clearly see right through me, I don't know how he does it - maybe he just really has some good instincts.

The letter was just resting on my desk - I didn't actually sign up for this, it was my father, he didn't really need the

prize of a scholarship, he just wanted me to be more social, but what's so social if I'm not even going to contribute

much anyways? I listened to my EXO-K friends excluding Kim Jongin who were speaking about the competition 

themselves, one of them should've took my place but somehow the role was given to me.

"I heard the other 3 are very good as well for this competition! there is Kim Jongin-" pft well isn't that a shocker

"There is also Lee Hyeri and then Jung Soojung" wait...she will be in it? I looked to them with a more interested

concern about this all and continued to listen carefully to their conversation.

"What if Jongin and Soojung end up being partners? ooohh maybe they'll start dating once more again!" Chanyeol

suggested with a playful grin, my blood inside me boiled and I clenched my fists rather tightly under the desk to

hide my ... no I am not jealous.

"I heard that they broke up due to long distance - it's a good thing Jongin came because now Soojung-ah will be

able to get over the fact that our little maknae Oh Sehun broke her fragile heart" Baekhyun replied making a 

dramatic expression placing his hand over his heart chuckling softly - ugh will these guys just shut up already?

I stood up and sighed carrying my backpack and they looked at me "Oh Sehun where do you think you're going?"

, I just ignored them and walked away - it was about time anyways that I went to the headmasters office to see

who I'll be paired up with - I just hope it's Soojung, I could change her mind maybe and we'll be together like

we used to be on that day where I helped her and her clumsy bruise to the knee. Smiling unknowingly at the

thought I reached the place only to be greeted with the other contestant Lee Hyeri who was in the same class as

Soojung, but where were the two others? I looked around until I heard a faint laughter coming from one of the

corridors and it was none other than Jung Soojung ... and Kim. Jong. In. can't you see you're making me suffer?

I just didn't look at them even though my own self was telling me to indirectly or at least do it subtly. I turned

around to greet her but once we made eye contact her smile turned into a blank expression but once turning to

the side to look at Jongin, her face lit up once more. jung soojung why can't I make you smile like that anymore?...

"Ah! well if it isn't my chosen students for the project this year! please come inside and make yourselves comfortable!"

the headmaster greeted us with a delighted face rushing us to get inside and sit on the ready chairs with a table, on top

laid some nice snacks or biscuits and tea. I just tried to get a seat next to Soojung but Hyeri and Jongin ed me,

I swear I could see a small smirk upon that boy's face. I sighed and sat down making myself as comfortable as possible.

I couldn't even listen to what the man was saying as I seemed to keep focusing my gaze onto Soojung until Hyeri

nudged my shoulder to listen. 

"So the first challenge will be a camping trip, no worries you won't have to drive to far away as there is a huge site

nearby the school and we all read your applications so we know you'll be able to manage finding your way - now

all there is left to do is choose the partners for this project" there. That was when I stopped whatever I was doing

to listen and hope that I'd get my choice. He looked towards me before saying "Oh Sehun and.. L-" no.. please.

"Oh Sehun and Jung Soojung and Kim Jongin and Lee Hyeri" he declared - yes! I had my shot- praise the Lord!

AFTER MEETING WITH HEADMASTER CHOI.

I rushed to go over to Soojung and she turned around emitting a quite disappointed sigh as she faced me unwillingly

"What do you want Oh Sehun? just because I'm working with you - doesn't mean I'll be nice" she told me with a

cold tone lingering in her voice, I just flinched at it, do you really hate me that much?

"Come by my house this weekend and we'll get started on our project and do not be late - just because I'm acting

careless and cold doesn't mean I won't contribute to any of this, here's my number- give me yours please" I asked

her and she hesitated before giving me her phone whilst I extended my arm to hand out my phone to her. Once we

were done exchanging numbers we went our separate ways wondering what the future has in store for the both of

us, but there was only one thing that played in my head.

I will make this right with you Jung Soojung. I promise. 

AUTHOR'S NOTE

hi beautiful people I am sorry for being quite lazy with updates, i'm still

quite shocked with the baekyeon news. don't get me wrong i feel quite okay

with it but i'm disappointed at the fact that baek is dating so early in his

career and his popularity in korea with girls as well.. i hope some miracle

happens, please don't bash. congrats(?) i guess.
