“Hang on, Chummy, I know we’re going to make it!” She sounded very calm in this panic situation. She is trying to keep her dog feel secured when he can sense danger approaching them. Their truck has lost its breaks on a very slippery road. It’s raining too hard to see anything. A light is quickly approaching them and all she could do is hug Chummy tight for whatever is going to hit them.
