IT’S A HAPPY THING TO BE A SS501’s FAN!
*NOTE: A korean fan (HIJU1227) summarized reasons why it is a happy thing to be SS501’s fan.
She especially wanted to let the Japanese fans know.
Of course, I was really touched by this article,
so I think every one of SS501’s fans should know this.1. Jung Min and Kyu Jong said during the broadcast of Youngstreet Radio
they will buy pancakes (or something like that)
for the fans waiting outside of the station, in the end, they really bought it.
2. On a cold day, Hyun Joong bought hot hottokyu (a rice cake soup with sugar added)
for the fans waiting for Music Bank.
3. Some fans waited in front of Hyung Jun’s house all the way until late at night, the last bus has also left.
Hyung Jun felt that it wasn’t safe late at night, so he sent the fans to a sauna that was open all-night.
4. Hyung Jun who sends hot water to the fans waiting outside of their home.
5. On Youngstreet Radio, when they learnt that a fan wasn’t able to continue her studies due to difficult circumstances,
Jung Min and Kyu Jong gathered their money together to help pay the tuition fee for that fan.

11. During the 2006 MKMF, when security guards did not let only TripleS enter the stadium,
Hyun Joong indignantly spoke out for TripleS,
“The weather is so cold, why do you persistently just won’t let our fans enter?”
On that day, the five people kept looking for TripleS members in the stadium.
12. Some fans gathered in front of SS501’s apartment making noise,
the surrounding neighbors all brought up protests.
Hyun Joong let the other 4 members go back into the house,
and he himself stayed behind to apologize to the angry residents.
13. Hyun Joong said before, “It’s not for TripleS to protect us, it is us protecting TripleS.”

2006 MKMF
Below is one of MKMF that happened in 2006, no other meanings,
just to let everyone know how well SS501 is treating TS.
SS501's "4Chance"(?) ranked 1st in N times weekly and monthly rankings,
thereby qualifying them to be one of the nominees for the MKMF Daesang (Grand Prize
which was set up for cellphone voting.
During that time, a lot of student fans did not eat and used their lunch money to vote for them.
SS501 said, "We heard that such cellphone voting is expensive,
everyone should not waste money on voting for us. We don't want this award."
However, fans tried hard to vote for them no matter what.
The voting dateline was the eve of MKMF award ceremony, 10pm.
The numbers showed that that SS501 had already won the award by the deadline.
But unexpectedly, after 10pm, they were overtaken by anotherr nominee.
The fans were very angry.
During the MKMF award ceremony, the security did not allow SS501 fans to enter the venue.
Hyun Joong went around to negotiate with security and staff member,
saying "In this cold weather, why don't allow our fans in?"
In essence, the organizers were afraid that the fans would make a fuss and kick up a ruckus,
so they had disallowed TS entry.
Later, led by Leader, the boys went to the big hall to find those TS that were not able to enter the venue.
Then later at the the MKMF award ceremony,
SS501 was awarded a 'surprise' win of "Best Dance".
Hyun Joong said in his speech： “Actually our dance was not that good.......

pregnant fan was in the crowd of people who were standing, she was
bearing her child for almost 4 months now and when Young Saeng saw her
and saw how hard it was for her to stand and cheer for them, he asked
the guards to her to a safer place for her to watch the boys. (in
other words, one of the seated sections on the VIP spot.)
There was a fan who argued with the guard that taking pictures using
personal cams/phones are not allowed.the fan still took a picture with her fave member on
stage and the guard went and broke her phone. Jungmin bought her a new
one on the spot and the fan even mentioned it was a better phone than
the one she had before and she was speechless.
During their concert in Thailand, there was a fan who had a Kidney
transplant and was eagerly waiting to see SS501.Because there were some
complications with her kidney, her friend wrote a letter to Leader
about it and gave it to her friend who was going to give a gift to
Kyujong,making Kyujong the bridge so that the letter could pass onto
him. Leader read the letter and sent the fan a gift.It was a cute bunny.
When Triple S fans were blamed for throwing lightsticks at SNSD during
their performance once, Leader and Jungmin defended their fans and said
"Green is a color, it can represent anything, so there is no need to
blame our fans because they share their love to all artist and respect
even those they hate or dislike.
Jungmin & Kyujong mentioned during the broadcast of Young Street
Radio that they will buy food for their fans waiting outside the radio
station, in the end they really did buy for their fans.
When SS501 was busy working preparing themselves for their performance
the following day on Music Bank, a bunch of fans were outside and did
not expect the rain to start pouring hard, SS501 tried to find
anything that can cover up their fans and sent it to them outside.
During 2006 MKMF there were some Triple S members who were not able to
enter the stadium because of the guards, Leader then spoke indignantly
saying “It’s a really cold weather, why won’t you persistently let our
fans in?” as he spoke for Triple S.
Leader always says that sincere and lovely letters made by fans mean
more and are more expensive compared to actual expensive material
things.
Young Saeng likes to mention his fans as his “babies” from time to time in his last entries....and Kyu Jong is calling their fans "pretties".
Some fans waited in front of Baby’s house until midnight and the last
bus has already left during that time. Bebe felt that it wasn’t really
safe for them to go home late at night so he sent them to a Sauna that
was open all night.
When SS501 was given a letter by a fan asking if they could come to her
18th birthday party they sent her a letter and a big cake and apologized to her and sent a video of them singing
happy birthday a 4 of their songs and dancing to it. They apologized
because they couldn't come due to conflict schedules but mentioned they
would have otherwise.

SS501 have spent their time with their fans over at Jeju Island which
they gave as a treat for them and they spent a night with them as well.
When someone asked Leader what they wanted as gifts form fans he went
out to say "The things that we need, fans do not need to buy for us
because we will buy it ourselves." (claiming that fans do not need to
spend too much money for material things for the boys.)
Prince mentioned before that when he prays at night he always asks God
to protect his fans, Kyujong said that this was true as he's seen it
several times and he constantly stares at Prince when he prays.
Jungmin and Kyujong heard that one of their fans wasn't able to
continue her studies because of money, the two of them gathered up their
money and paid for the fans tuition fee.
When a fan cried once in a signing event of SS501 after shaking Baby's hand, he stood up and helped the fan wipe her tears away.
MKMF had a voting through cellphones, Jungmin mentioned that they don't
need that kind of award and told their fans not to waste their money
voting for them.
And The Last One ! .... !
Leader mentioned that it wasn't Triple S' job to protect them, but instead it was their job to protect their lovely fans.
And then there's incident of them being thrown eggs by another fandom that shall not be named...Kyujong's reaction?
He didnt have the hatred feeling to those who 'threw' eggs on him...rather than telling the fans to be patient and not to take any revenge
