I was walking in the school corridor, when Nara ran to me and said :

“I’m really worried for Mark. He entered a classroom, and he locked the door ,It’s been 20 minutes . Please, HanByeol, talk to him.”

I thought for a while:

“The only reason which can make Mark lock himself in a room, is… his family. He used to do that a lot when we were still a child.”

I then, followed her. When we arrived in front of the room, JaeHyun was saying:

“Yah, dude. What are you doing ? It’s been 20 minutes. Open the door.”

I held JaeHyun’s arm and said softly:

“I’ll talk to him.” He smiled to me.

I knocked softly on the door and said:

“ I don’t know what happened, but… always remember that I’m here. I will be here for you...Always... Remember our promise. I won’t break it… You’re the most important person in my life, don’t care about how people think about you, don’t listen  when people are saying bad things to you. Now get out of that room...”

I said with a tiny smile.

[Mark’s P.O.V]

I was sitting on the room floor with my back against the door for a while. I was looking at the floor ,I had teary eyes . I didn’t know what to do. When I heard, HanByeol’s voice:

“ I don’t know what happened, but… always remember that I’m here. I will be here for you...Always... Remember our promise. I won’t break it… You’re the most important person in my life, don’t care about how people think about you, don’t listen what people when they say bad things to you. Now get out of that room...”

I didn’t answer anything. I looked up with a sorrowful smile and thought:

“Her voice is the only thing that make me feel better when I feel down. She said she will be here for me, but… how can she’ll be here for me if I’m the one who have to leave her, and go far away? I needed to let her go, not to hope anything from her, stop loving her, I will make anything to be distant with her. Like that… I won’t make both of us hurt, because of me.”

[End of Mark’s P.O.V]

We waited in front of the room for about 5 minutes. When the door opened , and Mark went out of the room. I smiled at him, he didn’t even looked at me.

I was about to ask him a question:

“Are you al-”

He said coldly:

“Not your problem.”

He walked away while Nara followed Mark and shouted:

“Wait for me , honey!~”

I looked at JaeHyun, I was quite surprised , he stared at me for a while and just shrugged.

Finally, school ended. I was walking in the street  to go back to the orphanage. I was still wondering why Mark was cold when I tried to talk to him before.

When I nearlly arrived to the orphanage, I noticed two people in front of the orphanage: I could recognize WooBin. I shouted:

“WooBin-Ah!”

I waved and ran to him, and he quickly waved to me. He was shouting at the other person who was next to him:

“Yah, KiJoon Hyung ! How many times, I have to tell you, You can’t come out of the hospital alone! What will I do if something happens to you ?!”

The boy named KiJoon, looked at the floor , It seems like he was about to cry. Even if he was older than WooBin, KiJoon was acting like a child.

I slowly bowed at him. He stared at me for a while.

Suddenly, he hugged me and my hair. My eyes widened,I was surprised but I remained still.

He softly said:

“Where have you been? I was really worried…”

I quickly backed away, I noticed his sorrowful eyes, he cupped my face and examined my face, he continued:

“Are you upset ? That’s why you ran away from home ? Because Umma scold you ?”

I shook my head but couldn’t say anything. He sighed:

“Cry, Oppa will tell her that you are sorry.”

I finally answered:

“No.I’m not the person you think I am.”

“No ! Did Umma did something that hurted you ? Why aren’t you looking at me?”

WooBin then, pulled KiJoon back and said:

“KiJoon Hyung! Stop it! We’re going back to the hospital.”

WooBin said to me :

“I’ll be right back, and Sorry for what my cousin did to you.”

I waited for about 30 minutes, and I saw WooBin coming near me with drinks in his hands. I smiled , he smiled back.

We sat in a park, WooBin started to speak:

“My cousin is sick, I mean.. he lost his sister and then his mother. Since then, he is in a shock state. He thinks that we’re still... in the past.”

I started to feel bad and put a hand on WooBin’s right shoulder…

It was the night, and I was really exhausted, I was laying on my bed when my eyes slowly closed. I fell asleep.

Later during that night, I felt something on my lips. I slowly opened my eyes, when I saw someone. My eyes immediataly widened: Mark was kissing me on the lips.
 

I sat up on my bed and looked around me. I was shoked, I gulped and touched at my lips.
Infact, it was… a dream.

[Mark’s P.O.V]

I was outside the orphanage, looking at the sky. I sighed and  whispered to myself:

“What...should I do?”

Unknowingly, a smile appeared on my face. I slowly touched my lips and chuckled.

[FlashBack]

After taking a shower, as usual, I went to HanByeol’s bedroom. I opened the door and saw her sleeping on her bed. I slowly walked inside and sat on the floor. I examined her beautiful face, I wondered:

“How can she be so innocent even when she sleeps?”
I smiled when I looked at her lips, I gulped and moved my face closer to hers. Like that, I stole her first kiss.

[End of the FlashBack.]

[End of Mark’s P.O.V]

After this weird dream, I decided to take some fresh air outside. I noticed someone who was sitting on a bench , I called out:

“Mark?”

The person immediataly stood up and stared at me: It was Mark.

He said coldly:

“What are you doing here?”

He was about to walk away when I quickly went in front of him and looked at his eyes. It was like he was confused about something.

Without hesitating, I hugged him and put my arms around his neck, I said softly:

“Cry...You don’t have to be strong in front of me.”

He hugged me back and cried.

[Mark’s P.O.V]

“Cry...You don’t have to be strong in front of me.”

I didn’t know why, but I hugged her back. I was thinking:

“Why are you always making things hard for me, Song HanByeol? I’m trying to let you go...”

Like that , I cried.
