I sat beside her and looked at her

“Early in the morning, after our first class in the morning, I asked for an apology to Donghae but it seems like he’s ignoring me.

I followed him wherever he went and asked for an apology all

over and again but he doesn’t even care” she said

I patted her back “He’ll forgive you. Ask for an apology tomorrow maybe he’ll accept your apology” I winked at her

“Yah! Why are you winking at me?” she said as she wiped her tears

“Aniya. That was just nothing” I said as I stood up

I know Donghae’s going to forgive you tomorrow if you’ll ask for an apology

I walked towards the door and looked at her “Don’t cry, you’ll get wrinkles. Don’t waste your beauty, arachi?”

 She laughed shyly “Arasso”

I smiled at her and went outside the room. I went inside my room and placed my bag on the couch. Someone’s calling

through my phone. I got my phone from my pocket and answered the call.

“Yoboseo?”

“Xenia-ah”

“Gongchan-ah, what is it?”

“Umm… are you free tomorrow? Tomorrow’s our report card’s distribution right?”

“Oh! Ne, I almost forgot. Gomawo for reminding me. Tomorrow’s Saturday right?”

“Aish! Tomorrow’s my first day in my piano lesso. Mianhe, I’m not available tomorrow”

“I can come with you in your piano lesson”

“Sure!”

We hung up. I placed my phone on the top of my study table and went to find my diary. I found my diary and wrote what

happened today. It seems like Jessica and I are getting closer with each other. We don’t have misunderstanding anymore and

she’s not mad at me. I hope this is not a dream.

I went downstairs to go to my piano lesson. Appa gave me an address to where I’ll be taking my piano lesson. My stepmom, my

appa  and I went to school to get our report card. Jessica went out with Tiffany and Hyoyeon. As we arrived at the school, I bid goodbye

to my stepmom and appa and I saw Gongchan walking towards me.

“Are you sure you’re going to come with me?” I asked him

“Ne. I want to hear you playing the piano” he smiled at me

I smiled shyly “Let’s go!”

We went to the bus stop and waited for the bus. When the bus arrived, we went inside and find for a seat. There was an awkward

moment while we were riding the bus.

“Why did you enroll for piano lesson?” he looked at me

“Because my appa wants me to enroll for piano lesson”

He nodded as he looked away

I looked away

“You know, when I was young, I know how to play the guitar but I stopped” he said as he was not looking at me

I looked at him “Waeyo?”

“My appa doesn’t wants me to play the guitar”

“Chongmal?”

He looked at me and nodded “My appa had a dark past with the playing of the guitar. When I was young, my appa was invited to a

club where he will be entertaining the customers by singing and playing the guitar. He doesn’t know that while he was playing the

guitar, my umma kept on calling him but he didn’t answer because he was on the middle of his performance. And he doesn’t know

while he was playing the guitar in the club, my umma died silently in our house. And I wasn’t there in the house. I was in the house

of my grandmother” he said as he looked down

“Gwenchana, I know your umma’s happy for you right now and she’s watching on you”

He looked at me and smiled

I never knew that he has a dark past. I thought I’m the only one who’s left by umma. When we ariived at the building, I looked for my

room where 'll be attending my piano lesson. Before I went inside the room, I looked at Gongchan

"Are you sure you can wait for me here?" I asked him

He smiled and nodded

"I'm going to go inside now. Bye! Seee you later"

"Bye" he said as he waved at me

I went inside the room and met my teacher. She was sitting on the chair in front of the piano. She looked at me when I

entered the room.

"Annyeong Haseyo" I bowed down

"Are you Xenia Kwon?" she asked as she stood up

"Ne" I replied directly

"Come" she instructed me to sit down on the chair

I followed her command and sat on the chair. She got a book from her shelf and went towards me

"Since, you're a beginner. I'll be giving you this book. This book is good for all the beginners in piano" she said as she gave

me the book. I got the book from her hands and scanned the pages. I awkwardly looked at her

"Is there something wrong?" she asked

"Ummm... I'm not anymore a beginner in piano"

Her eyes went huge "Chongmal? But your appa said that you're still a beginner and you don't know how to play the piano"

"The truth is, he doesn't know that I know how to play the piano. A few only know that I know how to play the piano and you're

one of them. Can you not tell it to them that I know how to play the piano? I'll be the one to tell it to them"

She nodded and sighed "What songs can you play?"

"I can play any songs"

"Modern songs?" she asked

I nodded

"Okay. Then, play it"

in piano was surprised

"Woah! You're so good!" she said as she clapped her hands

I looked at her and smiled

"Okay. Let's just continue your lesson next week" she said as she returned back the book

I stood up and nodded "Bye"

"Bye!" she said as she waved back at me

I went outside the room and when I returned back to where Gongchan was waiting for me, he was gone! I searched for him

everywhere until I heard a voice coming from the guitar department. I followed the voice and I got surprise of what I saw.
