A blink in the memory
Description
This oneshot is more poetic and bitter than I remember it being when I first wrote it. I decided to touch it up and repost it here on my new account. It doesn't have a specific pairing, you can imagine it to be whoever you like. However in my own imagination I thought it would be broken OnTae (Onew/Taemin) several years in the future, when they aren't so young and innocent looking. Alternate universe of course.

Foreword
I’m sorry if I was too much for you… as if that is any sort of excuse for the cruel way you left my heart shattered by the side of the road like you did. When you took that first step away from me after snatching your heart back from my desperately clenched fingers, I had fallen to my knees in shock. You wouldn’t really leave me, would you? You promised, you promised you never would! But that day you broke every sacred promise that you’d ever uttered when you turned and glanced at my pleading figure on the ground with unseeing eyes and walked away without looking back.
