I Miss You Already

 

 

 

Chorong woke up alone in bed. Her eyes were puffy. She cried herself to sleep. 

I must have more tears than I thought. 

How could it be like this?

I let you go while smiling back then.

Chorong got up from her bed and made her way to the bathroom. It has been 3 months she and Bomi broke up. 

I'm not like other girls

I can't be too cunning like them

I can't meet anyone else

Because I can only think of you

 

Chorong finished washing up and made her way to the kitchen. She poured herself a cup of coffee and looked at the dining table. 

 

"YAH! Yoon Bomi! Get your up!" 

Chorong screamed from the kitchen. Soon, she heard a thud.Bomi must've fell from the bed as she was surprised from Chorong's outburst. Few moments later, Bomi was shuffling her feet towards Chorong. She hugged Chorong from behind. Chorong turned around to look at Bomi. 

 

"HAHAHA!" Chorong laughed.

 

"Wae, Rongie?" Bomi whined. 

 

"Your hair!" 

 

Bomi had disheveled hair. It was all over the place. It looked as if she just got electrocuted.

 

You don't have to listen to my nagging anymore.

But you can't become skinnier than you are now.

Please make sure you eat.

 

Chorong's thoughts got caught off as her home phone rang. She wiped her tears and went to answer. Before she could answer, she saw a picture of her and Bomi. 

 

What should I do, I keep missing you

I miss being in your arms already

Why did we separate?

 

Chorong burst out crying. The phone stopped ringing. 

 

"Ani.. Chorong-ah, you can't cry anymore." 

 

With that, Chorong wiped her tears and went to dress up to meet Eunji at a cafe nearby.

Chorong was walking to the cafe. It was really windy. Luckily, she wore her coat. Her thoughts went to Bomi again. 

 

"I wonder if Bomi is wearing her coat… She can be really forgetful sometimes." Chorong thought. 

 

You must be living like nothing has happened

In a way, that suits you better.

 

Right now, Chorong was in front of the cafe. She took out her phone to call Eunji but as she opened the contacts app, the keypad popped out. She remembered what Bomi told her.

 

"Rongie! Am I your number one on your speed dial?"

 

"Nope." 

 

"Huh? You're my number one though." Bomi sulked. 

 

"Ah.. Jinjja?" 

 

You said I was number one on your speed dial

Over time, it will be filled with another girlfriend's number

 

Eunji finally arrived. 

 

"Unnie! Mianhae. Did you wait long?" 

 

"Ani! I just came too." 

 

Both of them made their way inside and took a seat

 

"Unnie… Did you sleep yesterday?" 

 

Chorong looked confused. 

 

"Did you cry yourself to sleep again?" 

 

Chorong just looked down.

 

"Aish! Unnie! When are you going to move on? It's been 3 months!!" 

 

However, Eunji's words fell on deaf ears. Chorong sipped her frappuccino. 

 

"Oh. Naeun-ah! You came?" Eunji asked in surprise. 

 

"Of course. You called me, and jajaan here I am!" Naeun said cutely. 

 

Eunji just smiled and pecked her on the lips. She looked at Chorong who was rolling her eyes. 

 

"Annyeong, Chorong unnie!" Naeun greeted Chorong. 

 

"Annyeong…" Chorong answered. 

 

Just like that, the day passed. Chorong was strolling by Han River.

"Kyaaa!" Chorong screamed in surprise as Bomi lifted her up from behind and spun her around. 

 

Bomi put Chorong down and kissed her on the lips. Chorong wrapped her arms around Bomi's neck. They pulled away. Chorong blushed as Bomi stared deeply into her eyes. She hide her face in between Bomi's neck. 

 

They walked away as Bomi put her right arm around Chorong.

Chorong was sitting on one of the benches as she recall her moments with Bomi. She was dying to see Bomi again. She finally went home. She was getting ready to go to bed. 

 

We used to spend the night talking about those stories

You used to want to be with me always, that promise.

 

"Rong-ah…" 

 

"Mmm?" 

 

"You'll marry me,right?" 

 

"Was that… Did you just… propose?" 

 

"Eii. You know my heart already. Isn't this a given that we'll get married?" 

 

"Hmmmm.." 

 

"You're thinking?! I want to be with you always. PROMISE!" 

 

"Aish! Jinjja? I'll get bored of you though…" 

 

"Mwoya?" 

 

Bomi hovered over Chorong and she stared deeply into her eyes. 

 

"Babo-yah.. You'll get tired of me.. But I'll never get tired of you. I'll always love you. Now, say you'll marry in 3 secs. If not, I'll kiss you!" 

 

Chorong just blinked. 

 

"Hana~~~" 

 

Bomi said as she leaned in.

 

"Dul~~~" 

 

Bomi leaned in even closer.

 

"Set!" 

 

"Arraseo!" Chorong raised her voice. 

 

Bomi smiled and still leaned in. 

 

"YAH! I answered!" 

 

Bomi ignored her and kissed her neck. While kissing, Bomi tickled Chorong's sides.

 

"Kyaa! Bbom-ah! Kkeuman! Stop! Stop! HAHAHA" 

 

"Saranghae, Park Chorong." Bomi confessed. 

 

Chorong wrapped her arms around Bomi's neck and pulled her down. 

 

I tried to erase tim but it's not working well.

 

Chorong wrapped herself and burst out crying.

Chorong's sleep was interrupted by the doorbell. She rubbed her eyes and got up. She wore her robe and opened the door. She looked up and her eyes widen.

 

Yoon.Bo.Mi. 

 

Directly in front of her. She was breathing loudly. 

 

"Tell me." 

 

Chorong just blinked.

 

"Tell me, you still love me. Tell me, you're crying for me! Tell me, you miss me! Tell me, you wanted to find me! BECAUSE! I still do, Park Chorong. No matter how hard I tried! I can't sleep because of you! SO TELL ME YOU LOVE ME. TELL ME TO COME BACK! IF YOU DO, I will leave everything behind and come to your arms instantly. Tell me." 

 

Bomi raised her voice as she stared at Chorong. Chorong sighed and looked down. Bomi frowned and moved back. 

 

"Arasseo. I see how it is." 

 

Bomi turned around and almost made her way to the lift. 

 

"Saranghae,Bbom-ah" 

 

Bomi stopped walking. She turned around and saw Chorong crying. 

 

"Saranghandago, Babo-yah." 

 

Bomi froze and just stood there, staring at Chorong. 

 

"You said you're gonna leave everything behind and come to my arms! What are you doing there, staring at me?!" 

 

Bomi smiled and hugged Chorong.

 

Just one day by my side

 

"them.. just one day? no no no. I'll be by your side forever, Rongie!" 

 

Chorong just smiled and kissed Bomi.

 

"Rongie untie, do you have food?" 

 

"YAISH! THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT?!" Chorong raised her voice and closed the door. 

 

"Ahhh! Unnie! I'm hungry!" Bomi whined.
