I quickly slid out behind him and closed the window.  


By the time I reached the ground, he was already starting his car.


Mystique was the only thing I felt when I climbed into the passenger seat as he pounded on the gas pedal.

And we were off.


“I can’t believe I missed you.” I huffed at him before realizing in shock that I said that outloud. “I-I mean… I… ” Failing to cover it up, I quickly turn to look out the window.

    “I knew you missed me.” He said in a serious tone. “But now is also not the time for pondering on the past. It’s adventure time.”

There's no way you're ever going to forget the night you reunited with your best childhood friend.
