Description
The older I grew, the shorter the cord binding us became. Kai was no longer just a figment of my imagination. He became constant presence by my side - unexplainable and uncontrollable. I fought hard to keep him a secret, tried to live a normal life, attend high school like other teenagers, get along with my parents despite our differences...
It took me too long to realize that normality was impossible for me. I could never have chance to live without repeatedly looking over my shoulder, glancing around, and hoping Kai wouldn't get me into trouble. But then...I was quite good at getting into trouble myself.
