You're a university student, a transferee from Jeju Island, living alone in an apartment in Seoul. You have many friends, most of them you knew from your classes, but only a handful of them are your closest, and only one knew your deepest secrets, your darkest fears, and who you really are: your best friend, Nam Eunhye.

You weren't really rich, but you're above the middle class, your parents having afforded buying you your own apartment in Seoul and sending your brother abroad to study. The only downside to living alone is, your mother always said, you have no one to ask when you need help right away, but you still insisted that you'll be fine living alone, after all, you have been living alone for awhile now, with your brother studying abroad, and your parents gone to work everyday, no one is left at home but you when you have no classes. But what if, one unfortunate evening, you woke up in the middle of the night, sweating uncontrollably and feeling extremely sick, and first thing that came into your mind is: call for help, and no, you didn't mean the emergency number in Korea, but your best friend.
