Description
My promises to you...
He blinked. Something wasn't right.
"You sure there's nothing missing?"
Jimin shook his head after a hesitant moment of thought. "Why? Is...is something missing to you?"
Jeongkook bit his lip, struggling to clearly identify what was different. He knew though, something important wasn't where it was supposed to be. Jimin walked Jeongkook to his neat bed covered with white sheets and blankets. The younger glanced around his relatively empty room, anxiously searching for some comfort in anything of familiarity, but he found nothing.
"Don't worry about it, I'll be with you." Jimin squatted down in front of Jeongkook and patted his hand resting on his knee, giving him a reassuring smile. Jeongkook looked back at Jimin and watched with glimmering eyes - finally, some familiarity.
He blinked. Maybe he was just too used to it to not notice it was missing.

Author's Note
This is the 3rd Jikook one-shot I've written! Since 'How We First Met' and 'Don't Let Me Go'
end with tragedy, I wanted to make sure I gave Jikook a happy ending, and the title of
'I'm Not Letting Go' (in Jimin's P.O.V.) was supposed to answer Jeongkook's plead of 'Don't Let Me Go'.
Though the plot of this one-shot is not related to the first two,
I may include the same symbols and attractions mentioned in the first two.
