He blinked. Reality was so wonderful right now.
The younger honestly didn’t think he’d be walking beside someone so amazing. He was completely dreading it at first when Rap Mon dragged him by the collar and told him he’d arranged a ‘date’. Jeongkook helplessly smiled and laughed along at everything Jimin said, regardless of whether or not it was really funny. To him, it was all like music to his ears – each note, each pitch; he listened intently, careful not to miss any of it. There was no way in infinite hell that the sixteen-going-on-seventeen year old would’ve expected himself to have a racing heart for a guy he met less than twenty minutes ago. Falling in love at first sight was such a new wonder to the young adolescent, but he loved every aspect of it, and day by night all that filled his head was the baby-faced hyung who was adorably shorter than him.
He placed his hand over Jeongkook’s, swiftly grabbing it and pulling the younger closer to him. Jeongkook gulped with surprised eyes, his cheeks warming at the lack of distance they usually kept. “Jeongkook-ah…” Jimin said softly, his voice tugging the younger’s heart in all directions. He felt like he was going crazy, but he was probably right.
Anticipations of the future floated around in Jeongkook’s head – he really couldn’t imagine life without Jimin by his side anymore.
He blinked. His reality had shattered into a million heart-breaking pieces.

This is the first time I've wrote a prequel after the sequel, so hopefully it turned out alright!

This prequel, set before Jimin and Jeongkook's separation, shows the readers
the events that lead up to their final heart-breaking end.
I do personally wish you could read the sequel before the prequel so that
you can be more familiar with what is going on. Lastly, support Jikook!
