Foreword
He opened his mouth to say or ask something, anything at all, before his mother beat him to it. In a quiet voice with an equally quiet touch against his cheek, Chanyeol's mother simply murmured two words that would etch themselves into his mind, his skull, his soul, his life. It eased the remaining tension from Joomi's mother's body, and it sparked a flare in Chanyeol's heart the moment he nodded his head and agreed to the lifelong commitment he ensued upon himself.
"Protect her."
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I decided to give this writing project a chance. This AU is one of the strongest ideas I've had in a while, and I really want to finish it until the end with all I have planned for this storyline. There's going to be a lot of twists and turns, as well as the three way triangle that you are seeing introduced in the Description. Many other characters are planned to be set in this storyline, including the other members of EXO, and some members of SNSD, SHINee, f(x), A-Pink, B.A.P., and BTS!
