Description

Yoochun didn't know why Junsu was always bullying him.

Foreword

Bully of My Heart (Three)

They went to a vacant room that hadn’t been used for a while. It was where they had their lunch since the day Junsu thought he wanted Yoochun to be his ‘victim’. Yoochun quickly opened his bag to reveal a very big bento box. It contained lunch for two people. Actually, it was supposed to be just for Yoochun but Junsu said that he wanted them to eat together. So Yoochun didn’t have any choice but to follow.

They sat themselves on opposite sides of the teacher’s table. Junsu was just waiting for Yoochun to finish setting up their lunch. The wonderful aroma of the home-cooked meal wafted to Junsu’s nose and he inhaled it appreciatively. He loved it more because he knew that it was Yoochun who cooked all of it. How did he know? He asked Yoochun to do it of course.

When the lunch was all ready, Yoochun gave Junsu his chopsticks and started eating. They ate in silence. They didn’t really have anything to talk about and Yoochun would be more scared if Junsu required him to talk. He didn’t really know what to say to him. So the whole lunchtime was occupied with a few slurping noises, some appreciative glances which meant that the food was good and some comments about giving this or that more spice or whatever was taste it was missing next time.

Yoochun was amazed at himself. He knew he was scared of Junsu but whenever they eat; his appetite seemed to work over time. He learned that he could eat a lot during lunch which had never happened before. In the four months that Junsu and him had started eating together, his mom had noticed that he gained weight. Yoochun thought that it was the only good thing that happened to him since he knew the school bully. Because Yoochun was thoughtfully thinking of what had been happening for the past months he wasn't aware that he was actually staring at Junsu hard.

Junsu stopped eating and instead let Yoochun stare at him. He pretty much welcomed the man's curiosity. It was something that rarely happened. Inwardly, he was glad that at least now Yoochun could have the guts to look at him without any prompting (or ordering) coming from him. Junsu enjoyed the range of emotions that he could see across Yoochun's face. He liked Yoochun like this. He wasn't nervous or scared. He wondered what the guy was thinking. He wanted to know.

“Is there something wrong with my face?” Junsu meant it as a joke but his voice was still a bit rough.

That made Yoochun snap out of his reverie. His nervousness returned and he stammered his reply. “N-No there wasn't anything wrong. I-I wasn't looking at you.” He said and took a piece of kimchi and put it in his mouth hurriedly and continued eating.

Junsu sighed exasperatedly. So much for not scaring the guy. “You know it's okay to look at me. I really don't mind.”

Yoochun's eyes widened at his words. What did Junsu mean he didn't mind him looking at him? He wasn't looking at him anyway. Yoochun didn't say anything and just continued eating. But Junsu didn't like it that Yoochun was silent again. He liked to hear his voice. He decided to tease the guy a bit. Junsu stopped eating and put his chopsticks aside. Then he put propped his chin on his hand and stared openly at Yoochun. He watched how Yoochun pick his food with his chopsticks and how he slowly put it in his mouth.

The way Junsu was staring at him made him really nervous and conscious of his actions. The guy's eyes seemed to catch every move that he made. After some chews, Yoochun suddenly couldn't take it anymore. He also put his chopsticks aside and turned to Junsu.

“I-Is there something wrong sunbae? You don't like the food?” he asked in a small voice. He watched as Junsu frowned at continued staring at him. Yoochun felt his cheeks redden in being stared at openly. He wasn't used to people staring at him. Just as he was about to speak, Junsu beat him to it.

“I think you have some hot pepper sauce on your lips.” Came the soft reply.

Yoochun abruptly lifted his hand to wipe the corner of his mouth but Junsu suddenly leaned forward and before Yoochun could react, Junsu had already wiped it with his own thumb. That same thumb he put in his mouth to clean with his tongue. Yoochun's skin tingled where Junsu's touch had grazed. His eyes were as round as saucers. His heart thumped double time. He couldn't believe that Junsu had just touched him. He was still stock still when Junsu stood up. His tormentor was done eating it seemed and Yoochun had to finish eating so he could fix what was left of their lunch.

When they separated, Junsu clapped him on the shoulder and said that he should cook another meal tomorrow. Yoochun saw him smile as he waved him good bye. As soon as Junsu was gone, Yoochun started going towards the direction of his classroom. His feet took him there automatically but his heart was still thumping hard. He wasn't sure what happened but it was the most disturbing lunch he had ever had. As he was about to sit down on his table, he remembered that Junsu didn't buy him ice cream today. And it somehow made him feel disappointed.
