A smile spread onto her pink lips as she inhaled the sweet scent of her roses. She had been taking care of them for two months by now and it seemed as she had been doing a pretty good job at maintaining them healthy and alive. She proudly patted her back as if saying "Good job!" to herself, and let out a satisfied sigh. She loved her roses, she loved plants, she loved flowers. They were so graceful, so beautiful.. she felt content at the sight of them.

"I can tell you're in love with those roses, Minji."

Her smile grew bigger and prettier at the sound of her mother's raspy voice, and quickly stood up and cleaned the dust off her long dress. "Yes, mama. How could I not when they're this beautiful?"

Her mother chuckled as she walked towards her only daughter and patted her cheeks to make them pink. "How about you go inside and make yourself look beautiful, hm?"

Minji furrowed her black brows and stared deep into her mother's eyes. She could tell there's was something going on by the way her mother was acting. "Why?" And then it hit her. "Oh Sehun is coming, right? I knew it."

"Minji baby, I know you don't like Oh Sehun-"

"I hate him!"

"I know I know." She apologetically smiled at her daughter and fixed her messy short hair. "But tonight's gonna be important, it might even change your life, baby."
