He’s been grumbling about Jongdae-hyung  ever since the elder burst through the door of their practice room about ten minutes ago, yelling about how seven times the charm was the new catch phrase. Sehun was so surprised that he didn’t even notice his adoptive brother tackle him to the ground, squealing at a volume which would probably get dolphins to adopt him into the sea. Sehun was yet to recover from the shock when the love of his life crushes him even more.

The oblivious Kim just skipped out the door with a body practically radiating flowers and hearts.

I looked at Sehun and just held out my hand.

“Want me to get ice?”

“Get me Pinku Pinku. Somebody is gonna see murder if I don’t get a tub of ice cream right now”

“I’ll go get it”

Now, my formerly calm and composed teammate just looks like a sad and depressed high school girl while eating a tub of ice cream. The stuffed toy wasn’t helping his image in anyway.

“Want to talk about it?”

“ Jongin, I can’t do this! I can’t perform properly tomorrow if I don’t get over him properly today!”

I stared at him skeptically

“You know that’s not going to happen, bro”

“B-but. B-but! I have too…”

“I’ll tell you what. The best way to go about this is to actually tell Jongdae-hyung what you really feel. So that you end it properly.”

Sehun just sniffed

“W-will that really make thing b-better?”

“I know it will”

The person beside me just looked down to the tub of ice cream melting as seconds pass.

My expression brightened

I pulled him to the corridor running at full speed to where I know Jongdae-hyung would be waiting.

I paused to the scene of Baekhyun and Jongdae talking

“Then why did you say yes?” Jongdae-hyung was just squealing minutes ago now he’s all teary and

“Because I wanted to talk to you face to face and properly. You won’t listen to me recently, that’s why I said yes” the leader just hugs the sobbing man

“Y-you stole my heart, B-beakhyun… Now you’re breaking it? T-take some responsibility, w-will you?” Jongdae sniffed into Baekhyun’s wet shirt

“I’m not breaking it Jongdae-ah. I’m returning it. Because I think someone else deserves it”

The singer looked into my general direction

I whispered hurriedly to the dumbfounded school girl beside me.

“Go get’im tiger!” I pushed him into the scene grabbing the tub of ice cream from his hands.

Jongdae-hyung’s eyes widened at the entry of his brother.

“S-sehunnie? A-are you o=okay? Do you need h-hyung’s help?” Jongdae immediately ran over to where Sehun was, caressing his cheek and checking for injuries

“I’m fine, hyung. I think you need me, more than I need you” He shot a glare to the heartbreaker and Baekhyun just raised his hands in defeat.

“I think it’s best for me to go, Chen. I think someone will be able to love you better than I can” the man just walked in the door of the recording studio they were about to use.

“H-huh?”

“Hyung… I… really hate Baekhyun-sunbaenim”

“What are you saying, Sehun?! You shouldn-“

“I hate him because he had something I couldn’t never had”

“Sehun if you wanted something, I could just buy it for you! All you had to do was ask! “

“But that’s the point, hyung. That something I wanted can’t be bought with money. It’s you hyung… I wanted you… I love you… more than a brother…. And obviously more than a friend”

Jongdae froze in his tracks.

He gazed at Sehun with inquiring eyes, looking for signs that his younger brother was just joking around with him. Alas, he found none

Jongdae the schemer just chuckled at Sehun’s assumption

“Truth to be told, I did like Baekhyun at the start… but it seems that each time I confessed, I found myself looking and looking for you more… Its was like a routine for me to look for you when I’m sad or when I’m happy. It felt safe to be in your embrace Sehun… its embarrassing how I’m older than you but I’m still dependent on you. When Baekhyun answered me today, I felt so happy…Because after all my hard work, he finally said yes. But one part of me was in opposition to how I was feeling. Do you know what word came to mind?” Jongdae gazed loving at his brother

In an instant, Jongdae presses his lips unto Sehun’s and I just turn around blushing at the scene. I was about to walk away like the proud parent I was, when Baekhyun-sunbaenim pulls me into the recording studio.

“Nice job there”

“Thanks, I pride myself as a good wingman”

Baekhyun sunbaenim looked at me teasingly

But because he smiled so often that you’d get a nosebleed from the cuteness overload.
