~ The next day ~

It’s another new morning. You slowly opened your eyes expecting that L is already gone. You saw outside the window the beautiful view of the sun. You smiled softly. You turned your body to the left and L is not there. You let out a deep sigh. You stood up and did your every morning routine, until your phone started ringing.

*You’ve got one message*

From Sungyeol:

Good Morning Sleepy Head. :)

You softly chuckled.

“Good Morning too. :)” you replied.

“How’s your sleep?”

“It’s.. okay.”

“Did you take your breakfast?”

“Not yet.”

“Okay. Let’s have breakfast. My treat. Is that okay?”

“Sure.”

Sungyeol smiled as his heart beats faster when you replied “Sure.”

“Okay. I’ll wait for you at the lobby.”

“Okay.”

“See you then?”

“Arasso. :)”

After having a conversation with Sungyeol on text, you took a bath and dressed up.

~ After 43 minutes ~

Sungyeol is already at the lobby waiting for you until he saw L arrived with a food on his hands and L didn’t notice Sungyeol because he was in a hurry.

Sungyeol watched L until he disappeared.

Sungyeol let out a very deep thought about what he saw.

On the other hand, you finally finished dressing up when L entered your room. You saw him with a food on his hands. You stared each other for a while and then looked away.

L gave a curious face to you. He was curious why you dressed up so well. He placed the food on the dining table and started a convo.

L: I bought some food here for our breakfast.

You looked down.

You: I can’t take my breakfast here.

L: oh. Where you’re going?

You: uhm I’m out with a friend.

L: okay. I guess I’ll have to eat this alone.

You both awkwardly chuckled.

You: I’m sorry.

L: it’s okay.

You smiled to him and he smiled back at you.

You were about to leave when..

L: JC.

You: hm?

L: if you don’t mind, who’s with you?

You: S-Sungyeol.

L let out a very jealous look and face.

L: I see.

You slowly went out and closed the door while L jealously looked outside the window.

~ At the lobby ~

You saw Sungyeol staring at the flower vase. He seems like thinking of something very deep.

You: Sungyeol?

He didn’t response and was still looking at the vase. You clapped your hands in front of his face and that made him look at you.

SY: JC.

You: why so serious?

SY: uhm just don’t mind that.

You: okay. Let’s go?

Sungyeol nodded.

Sungyeol brought you at a very classic restaurant and it’s very popular at Guam.

You took a sit and grabbed the menu.

You: *gasps + wide eyes*

SY: you okay?

You: why did you bring me here?

SY: why? Is there any problem?

You: *whispered* the food is so expensive. I can’t pay for it.

SY: *Giggled* I said it’s my treat. Don’t worry.

You: I will pay you when we get back at Korea. Promise.

SY: no need JC.

You: but..

SY: Please order now.

You: I pro..

SY: Please? *cutely begged*

You softly nodded and looked back at the menu.

Waiter: what’s your order mam?

You: uhm .. Pizza Pasta.

Waiter: Okay mam. How about you sir?

SY: Pizza Pasta.

You shockingly looked at Sungyeol.

SY: Pizza Past is my favorite. *smiled like a kid*

You chuckled. 

While waiting for your order, you and Sungyeol started a conversation.

SY: I saw L went up with a food on his hands.

You: yeah I saw it.

SY: why?

You: huh? What do you mean?

SY: why didn’t you take your breakfast with him?

You: because you’re the first one ask me to take breakfast with.

SY: really?

You: ehmm.

SY: so you mean I’m more important than L?

You: uhmm Sungyeol, I’m just being fair.

SY: I see. How do you feel?

You: I’m fine.

SY: no. I mean how do you feel after getting over that kiss last night?

You: I don’t care about that.

SY: then why did you cry so hard?

You: I didn’t cry because of that kiss.

SY: then why?

You: I cried because .. I didn’t expect that me and EunJae will fight in that way.

Sungyeol gave a blank faee.

You: really. That’s the reason why I cried.

SY: I don’t see that reason in your eyes.

You looked away.

SY: you lied. JC.

You: why did you suddenly hugged me that night without my permission?

SY: It’s simple. Because I didn’t want you to see that. I tried to protect you from that but I failed.

You: failed?

SY: because you cried. You were hurt.

You: I said I don’t care about that.

SY: you keep on saying I don’t care about that. Can’t you say I’m not hurt about that?

You paused.

SY: you don’t care but it really hurts. Right?

You: why are you saying this Sungyeol?

SY: I wanted you to tell the truth.

You: why?

SY: I wanted to heal that pain so you’re star will come back.

Waiter: Here’s your order sir.

You’re looking away while the waiter was placing and preparing your food.

SY: JC.

You looked at him.

SY: it’s okay if you’ll get mad at me.

You: no I’m not mad.

The waiter left while you two were staring at each other.

You: Thank you for protecting me Sungyeol.

Sungyeol just replied with a smile.

You started eating and…

“I will never get tired protecting you JC over anyone.” He sweetly said.

You looked at him while your cheeks started blushing.

~ After almost 2 hours ~

After having a breakfast, you and Sungyeol went home already.

You: Thank you for today. *smiled*

SY: You’re welcome.

After, you went to your room and wondered if L is there.

You slowly opened the door and you saw nothing at the living room. You placed your bag at the sofa and checked the kitchen. Nothing at the kitchen, until someone called you that made you jump a little.

L: JC.

You: *gasps*

L: I didn’t know you’re home already.

You: I just arrived here few minutes ago.

L: are you hungry?

You: oh no no no. I’m just checking if you’re here. Just making sure. You know. *softly chuckled*

L: I see. I left Pizza Pasta for you at the ref.

You: th-thank you.

~AWKWARD SILENCE~

L: so.. how’s your date?

You: date? Oh we’re not in a date.

L: really?

You: Yes!

L: You’re a perfect couple, for me. *Smiled*

You: You and EunJae are more perfect. *smiled back*

Even if you both don’t admit it, there was a sudden feeling of jealousness.

After your last words, you both let out a same thought.

“It could be more than perfect if we’re the couple.” You both thought.
