I have been thinking in asking her this since the day she woke up, when I see her in the bed pale and injured I knew I didn’t want to be a part of her, I didn’t want another man to be with her, I wanted her for me and only me, even if I have to share her with all the other guys but I wanted me to be the only man in her heart, the only one that can kiss her lips, hug her and tell the whole world she’s mine

“can I court you?” it took all my strength to say those simple words”

“What?” she seems surprised and nervous

“I want to court you, I like you scratch that, I love you, since the very first time I met you I knew you were different, and then when days passed I started to like everything about you, every day I wanted to see you, be with you, I wanted to make you laugh and I feel the luckiest guy when you smiled at me and talked to me, I know you didn’t talk to other boys, so when I heard the other students implying something about us I feel happy and excited. And now I don’t think I can bear see you with another man or someone by your side that’s not me, that’s why I’m risking our friendship to say… I love you Minhee”

“Mark, I don’t know what to say”

“I’m only asking for a yes, I only want you to allow me to court you, I know it’s early to be more than friends, and I want you to know the real me, the real man that is capable of do anything for you, I want you to know you can lead on me, that I will protect you. I want you to enter my world and I want you to let me in, in your world” I see her smile

“Ok, we will do it. I want you to know that I also like you, but I’m afraid… that once you know me you will leave me” I hug her, I feel her tense for a moment but then she relaxed

“I wouldn’t dare to leave you, for me you are all I need” she hugs me back
