Kai
Kai was completely hyped up and ready to go. Today was Seoul Academy's match against Seoul High. The two top schools in the country. And this match meant a lot to both the schools. This match would determine which school was the champion at sports over the other. Soccer was the most important sport amongst the wealthy. Why? Because soccer was seen as a manly sport. It was seen as a sport that ws popular all over the world. Like the great matches between football leagues that people often watched live on television, Seoul Academy's football matches also had live footage and lots of media coverage. And many people watched the matches. Girls watched to swoon over the Nation's most handsome, rich bachelors. Guys watched to look at their idols. And even adults watched, to get a glimpse of the wealthy. These matches were a big thing. And the competition was certainly intense. The opposing team was led by Shin HyunWoo, the son of the owner of a Soju company. He was an envious one. He often fouled and was extremely aggressive. He had seen Kai as competition from schildhood. Kai had always been the popular one, the smart one, the one whom all the teachers doted upon. The one who was so loved by the nation. Who was so upright and so... good. And he was engaged to the most desirable female in the country.
But Kai didn't see him as competition. In fact, Kai didn't see any of the opposing team as components. To Kai, this was just another chance to enjoy himself. Matches weren't as important to Kai as they were to everyone else. Win some, lose some. He was just there to enjoy himself. To do what he loved. Because to Kai, if he enjoyed and loved what he did, then he would excel. That was the secret recipe to his success. He loved what he did. And he was feeling better than ever. The adrenaline was rushing through his veins. He wasn't thinking about winning, or thinking about scoring. He wasn't in the least nervous. All he was thiking about was her. All her sincerity and her words. And she made him so happy. That happiness would help him achieve miracles. Miracles anywhere. Be it in the classroom, or on the field. As long as she was there for him, he would achieve anything and everything. Effortlessly.
"Okay guys! Today's the big one! Let's just go out there, and enjoy ourselves. Sehun, you make sure to score as accurately as you can. Luhan, remember to watch for the ball, and catch it. The rest of you, remember to run as fast as you can, and distract them. Block well, and do not ever use force or violence. Remember, on this field, there are no enemies. There is not pressure, no competition. We aren't going to see them as opponents. When you look into the other team's eye, do not see an opponent. Do not show any signs of intimidation, of competititve spirit. You show them friendliness. And be the better man. The most scary thing of all, the most powerful hidden weapon we have is confidence. And when you show them that confidence, they will be scared."
Kai's team nodded, never failing to be amazed at the captain's wise words.
"Okay guys, you're up!"
