Story idea was inspired by Japanese folklore: Baku

Dream Eater (baku)- A spirit who devours nightmares and dreams

Is it difficult to sleep at night, for you young lady?

Worry no more; I’ll make you asleep by dreaming,

 But first, before going to sleep, do you want a candy?

“No, no, it’ll make my teeth aching!”

Good girl, now let’s make a pinky promise, shall we?

Don’t tell anyone about me!

"Never ever break this promise, will you?"

 “I will. But where are you?”

“I’m just right here, right beside you, I’ll never leave.”

But you can’t see me…because I’m the Dream Eater!

“Promise me you’ll believe!”

“I promise Dream Eater!”

Now, on this abysmal paradise

I’ll eat your dreams away, “Do you want a slice?”

 “But promise me you’ll keep this a super duper secret.”

No worries, I’ll be your soldier, and will cause no threat.
