"Please don't hang up." his voice came out strangled. Baekhyun didn't know why he was calling her in the first place she had clearly moved on. He heard her sigh and rustle some things. "Why?" her voiced whispered in his ear. Baekhyun remembered that, that was the same question Suji asked him the last time he saw her. After not hearing her voice for so long it sounded different, more mature and powerful. It wasn't the same sweet voice that would coo him to sleep after him getting wasted or waking him up with kisses planted all over him. "Why after so long have you finally decided to call?" Sujis voice sounded furious. Baekhyun stayed quite as she continued. "You have no clue what I went through do you? And don't give me some bull answer." "I'm sorry." Was all he could manage to say because saying the words I love you would be useless at this point. Baekhyun could feel her anger even if he wasn't next to her. "I'm sorry? That's all you have to say?" Beakhyun could hear Suji breath in and out. "Theres lots of things I wanna say but don't know how." "Just say them." Baekhyun sighed not knowing where to begin. "I'm in Japan." "I know." she said. "Chanyeol told me." "I see, I'm getting help for my drinking and I have a stable job." "That's good to hear." "I miss you." he was finally telling her his real intentions for calling. "Do you love him?" The other side of the line was quite, Baekhyun got up form his chair and went to the window staring at the people that looked like tiny ants. "He makes me happy." Suji said after a while. "That's not what I asked." "I do." "That's all that matters. You know I was thinking of what we were and I never asked you out and I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry for a lot of things." Baekhyun said. "I'm sorry too." They stayed quite Baekhyun thought about the days he had spent with her and half of those memories he could barely remember because most of the time he was intoxicated. He truly was happy that she moved on and form what he knew Jongdae is a good man. It was time he also moved on, it was time to raise the imaginary white f
