Sometimes I wonder why would feel the need to have gotten me such an extravagant present for our 5th anniversary. I get that you were planning to propose, but why? Why did you have to leave me? Why did you have to get so caught up that you didn't see that car coming? Why?

It used to always be Baekhyun and Chanyeol, Chanyeol and Baekhyun. They were never separated, at least until that fateful day...
Now, as a form of consolation and comfort, Baekhyun writes letters to Chanyeol once every week, telling him all about his life. The letters are addressed to someone who has long since left the world, and so the post office just mails them back. Back to Baekhyun as a painful reminder that Chanyeol has left him, and has no intention of coming back.
Baekhyun would follow Chanyeol if he could... but he can't. Because where Chanyeol has gone to, Baekhyun can never follow.
