All your little things (PT. 1)

Description

It was a gloomy day outside with scattered rain falls here and there. Watching the cars go by from your apartment window, splashing through water and people carrying umbrellas walking to their destention, it made you want to go outside, instead of being trapped in your apartment getting work done.

Even though you had the day off from work there were multiple things that needed to be done and leaving that up to everyone else at work just didn't seem right. So here you were on bed with your laptop handy trying to get more work done. You thought you had the same day off as your boyfriend Kris, but it just didn't play out correctly, for a sudden schedule change popped up at the last minute. You woke up and he was gone this morning.

Starting to get a migraine, you started to work quicker so you could just rest. The only sound that could be heard were your fingers connecting with the keyboard and the cars outside that drove on by. You sighed, and looked around, picking up your laptop and setting it on the bed before getting off and heading to the kitchen. The day had passed by quickly for it being already 7 o'clock. You grabbed some water and looked outside as it started pouring again. Setting the glass down you went back to bed to only set aside your laptop and just lay down.

Kris looked down at his phone, still wondering why there were no text messages from you. He knew it was your day off work, he also knew you hated bothering him when he was working but he at least expected 1 text message a day.

"Aish..." He rubbed the back of his neck and sat in the studio with the other guys from their schedule today.

"Would you stop looking at your phone every second?" As Chen picked up his phone and put it up to face and started scrolling threw dramatically to only imitate on what Kris was doing. Kris only shook his head and grabbed his coat.

"I think the day is done for." Kris told everyone, as he looked in the mirror fixing the collar of his coat.

"Agreed." Tao waved his hand in the air, as he was laying in the middle of the floor. Kris smiled with a little laugh coming out of him as he waved bye to everyone else.

He was even more anxious on the way home, wondering if something happened to you and why you haven't texted him yet today. He knew today wasn't planned and he was sorry that it played out like that. Were you mad because he left this morning? Did you go into work too? So many questions and thoughts running through his mind, that he had to take a deep breath and concentrate only on driving right now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
He opened the apartment door to his beloved girlfriend of 2 years now. The living room TV was on and loud, the kitchen light was on with chairs not pushed in. He grabbed the remote for the TV, knowing you had to be doing something else because you always hated just quietness when it was just you at home, and turned it down before he turned it off, setting the remote back on the couch.
"Babe..." He said going through the hallway to get to your guys' room. He poked his head into the room to only be greeted by a mess. Papers on the floor and the bed, your laptop on the bed still on the word documet you were working on, and a half eaten sandwich on his pillow. Kris smiled as he walked into the room and saw you, with your glasses still on, your hair in a bun, and wearing a t-shirt with sweatpants, your lazy day attire. He bent down and pushed back the hairs that were in your face and just watched you. His smile never leaving his face.
He took off his coat and hung it over the chair for your desk. He closed your laptop and set it back on the desk where it belongs along with the papers. The sandwich went into the garbage, as the plate went into the dish washer. Before entering your room again, a quick shower was what he needed to get him relaxed.
He pulled the covers out from underneath you as nicely and softly as he could without waking you and he did just that. Turning your bed lamp off and kris getting into bed himself, as he pulled the covers back up he heard a faint, "Thanks babe." All he could do was smile, and reply just as softly, "Anything for you," before kissing your lips and turning his bed lamp off.
