Summary: 

A very small village that wasn’t even on any maps was full of 7 skillful hunters, daily battling against the dangers of the southern forest. All the hunters of the village having their own special powers; like Yixing’s ability to heal or Joonmyun’s ability with water; all seeming to have magic in their bloods, different bloodlines going back to their powerful ancestors. All magical except for one: The village chief’s adopted son, Zitao. He hadn’t even an ounce of magic in him. And due to his lack of magic, he instead was the most skillful with weapons and martial arts.

Ordered by his father, Zitao must head out of the village into a forest warded against magic to seek out and kill a nearby wolf clan’s pack leader, Yifan. However, things don’t exactly go as planned as he’s attacked and taken prisoner.

Time with the wolf clan gives Zitao a shock and causes him to question the ‘so-called-truth’  that their ancestors had set in stone many years ago. As he does try to figure this out, secrets about himself that even he didn’t know about begin to unleash, leaving him in a state of utter confusion and fear.
