Watching the sunset out on your balcony was something that you always loved to do. Especially when your finance, Hyunjoong, would wrap his arms around you and pull you against himself, your head would rest against his shoulder, then he would gently rock you from side to side and whisper sweet nothings into your ear earning a little smile from you.

Looking over your shoulder, the french doors were opened to let in the beautiful evening air, but expecting Hyunjoong to come was almost impossible. Turning your eyes back to the sunset you took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, wondering how he was doing on his tour.

Receiving a few texts from him everyday was enough to put a smile on your face but it couldn’t cover up the fact that you missed him, you missed the way he held you, the way that he would rock you and smile at you, you missed everything about him.

Grabbing the iron railing on the balcony, you leaned back while your arms kept yourself from falling down, taking in one more deep breath, you pulled yourself upwards just to catch the last few seconds of the sunset before you turned around and headed back inside.

Closing the french doors behind you, your phone laid on your bed and you walked over to it, checking on any new messages from Hyunjoong. Not hearing from him today, you thought that you would take the first step and send him a message.

Cutie, the sunset was beautiful tonight. I wish you were with me to share it with me.

Sending the message, you let your phone fall onto the comforter covering the bed. Turning around you walked over to your calendar and flipped over the month to see how many weeks he was gone.

Six weeks.

Sighing, you let the calendar fall before you headed to take a shower. Singing to yourself, you finished quickly changing into some comfortable pajama pants and an old t shirt.

Moving to your bed, you folded your legs under you while watching the moon and the stars out your windowed doors. A buzzing from your phone caught your attention. Picking it up, you swiped the screen looking at the new message.

Baby, I wish I was there with you too, but I bet you are still more beautiful than any colors that appear in the sky - H

When are you coming home?

The tour should be over in a week. - H

The next thing you knew, your phone was ringing. Answering the call, you pressed the phone to your ear.

"Joongie you didn’t have to call me, you know." You smiled taking the towel off of your shoulder and throwing it into the hamper.

"I wanted to, I couldn’t stand not hearing your beautiful voice any longer." You heard him smile with a little smirk hanging on his words.

"I missed your voice too." You smiled back, almost forgetting that he couldn’t see you. "How has the tour been going?"

"Pretty good, I mean all of the girls scream and love it so I guess I can say that it is going well right?" He draws little figures on his pillow.

"Yeah I guess." You nodded your head, once again forgetting that he couldn’t see you.

"I miss hearing you fangirl over me though." He reveals shyly. He heard a little laugh come from you, which caused him to break out into a bright smile.

The line went silent for a while, just enjoying each others long distance presence.

"What country are you in tonight?" You asked him while you ran your fingers through your hair.

"Japan tonight." He says as you heard people around him rushing around. "I actually have a concert tonight, and I have to go change for the concert, so I will talk to you later okay babe?"

"Okay, have a great concert, I love you." You smiled while your fingers gently twirled the ends of your hair around your fingers.

"I love you too." He made a kiss noise on his side of the phone and you kissed your phone too before he hung up for the night.

Blush started to creep onto your face, placing your phone back on the bed, you leaned over the bed and pulled out your laptop so that you could watch his concert before going to bed.

Opening up your ‘usual’ tabs, you noticed a new message. Clicking on it, you saw a music file attached to a short note.

Baby I know you are wanting to watch the concert tonight, but I have something a little different for you in mind. Here is a song that I wrote when I was on the road. I recorded it and it actually is coming out on my new album but I wanted you to be the first to hear it. Enjoy and I will see you soon.

A smile crept across your face to match your blush. Rereading the note a few times, you really couldn’t help but feel that he wasn’t that far away anyways.

Moving your mouse over the attachment, you clicked it, watching it download onto your computer. You opened the file, turning up the volume on your computer, his song started off soft but gently built.

While the song played, you closed your eyes, listening to the heart and beautiful lyrics that were carefully chosen and performed for this special version just for you. Replaying the song over and over, you couldn’t help but smile, your toes wiggled and moved to the beautiful melody.

Hearing the song more and more, you picked up on more of the lyrics, and before the night was through, you harmonized with the recording while you played with his necklace that hung around your neck from your very first date together along with your engagement ring that sparkled in the low light of the night.

A few days passed slowly, listening to only his song, you swayed listening to his beautiful voice. Blasting the music from your laptop, you sat on the couch, with your eyes closed, you softly hummed to the song swaying from side to side, letting the music engulf yourself.

The door gently opened late afternoon, the groans from the hinges called for your attention. Turning around, you saw the door open, hesitant to move, you watched the open door for a while.

Seeing a figure walk in with a few bags of his own, your face lit up, getting to your feet, you walked slowly at first but once you say Hyunjoong’s smile, you started to run towards him. Dropping his bags, he held his arms open for you while you jumped into his embrace.

Tightly you wrapped your arms around his neck and he wrapped his strong arms around you. Your legs, dangling from jumping carefully wrapped around him. Tears started to fall out of your eyes while your fingers gripped the fabric of his shirt.

"I missed you." He whispered against your ear before resting his head in the crook of your neck.

"I missed you more." You whispered while you voice broke gently because of your tears. Holding you tighter, he placed small kisses on your neck. After a while, your legs unwrapped from his waist and he placed you on the ground right in front of him.

His thumbs gently wiped away your tears that spilled from your eyes. Your eyes stayed on his face, not wavering from his eyes.

"Did you enjoy my song?" He asked tucking some of your hair behind your ear.

"I loved it too much." You admitted glancing away while your ears started to turn red. A soft chuckle came from his lips, he turned his head and saw the soft light right before the sunset.

"Will you come and watch the sunset with me?" He offered with his bright smile. Threading your fingers through his, your smile gave him your answer.

The both of you headed into the bedroom, through your french doors and out to the balcony. Your hands gently rested on the cold iron railing while his arms gently wrapped around you, just like you had imagined, you turned around in his arms so that you could hug him back, your head rested against his chest while his heart beat sounded comfortingly in your ear.

Watching the sunset in his arms was in one word, paradise. With the dwindling light gently lighting your faces still, he lifted your head from his chest so that he could look at you.

His eyes communicated with yours quietly, leaning downward and tilting his head to yours, your lips touched his. Fireworks burst while his lips moved over yours, gently massaging them with his own. The kiss turned deep, slow and passionate while the two of you caught up on the lost time between you. The light started to fade, but the fire in your hearts burned brighter than before.

Pulling you closer to him, you felt his heart race while your hands gently moved to the base of his neck while the two of you kissed. Just like his song you wanted his kiss, you needed his kiss and he needed yours.
