I've always loved EXO from the day I saw them on my favourite Korean variety show, Running Man. I loved their songs, I loved their cute gestures, and I love their personalities and humour. I loved the way Baekhyun could make any story he told seem funnier, the way Chanyeol could cheer up anyone, the way Lay was so sweet and caring towards his fans, the way Kris had a soft side for s, the way Suho would take care of s, the way Kyungsoo laughed, the way Kai danced and smiled, the way Sehun was like a hyperactive maknae, the way Tao was so scared of bugs despite him being able to do wushu, the way Chen's mouth curved and his melodious voice, the way Xiumin made his baozi face, the way Luhan would be cute even when he wasn't trying, I loved them all.

One of their songs, Peter Pan, captured my attention the first time I heard it. I loved the Chinese version more, but perhaps that was because I was Chinese. The lyrics struck a chord of melancholy in me, and I found myself hoping, hoping that one day, I would get to see EXO in real life, and I would be able to talk to them, to get their autograph. I never realized that I was just another fan in the crowd. 

And then, the news came. It struck me and all of the other fans hard. What was the news?

EXO will be disbanding.
