Becoming Cinderella

Description

Kim Moon Hee is no stranger to bad luck. With the death of her parents, her and her brother Jongin are just managing to stay afloat. She has no friends at the expensive school she goes to in Seoul and everyone treats her like a leper. She’s definitely no Jun Ji Hyun.

But when a good deed lands her the attention of some of the most popular boys in her school, she thinks the tides might be shifting…in a very bad direction! Now she’s quickly becoming public enemy number one to the queenkas of her school and what’s worse: she might be developing feelings for one Lee Taemin. There's more than one person who wants to keep that from happening--at any means necessary.

It’s a dangerous world for an unconventional Cinderella. It’s easy to get cut on the shards of a glass slipper.

Foreword

“Hey, you! Wait up!”

Moon Hee paused, a quizzical look on her face. A tall boy with wavy brown hair was running towards her.  He had been sitting at the table. He was also an upperclassmen, she remembered seeing him in her math class. A very popular upperclassmen, at that. She started to panic. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea.

“Yes?” She squeaked, as he came up beside her. From close up, she could see why he was so popular. He had milky white skin and a boyishly cute face.

“What’s your name?”

Moon Hee swallowed hard, her words failing her for a moment. She opened to speak but nothing came out. He watched her in amusement, one of his eyebrow cocked at her as he waited for her to reply. She tried again.

“Ah…Kim Moon Hee.”

“I’m Lee Taemin.”

Ah! So that was his name. She heard girls in her classes tittering about his dancing abilities and how attractive he was. Now she could see for herself the latter.  Why did he want to talk to her? Did she do something wrong? He was silent now and his face was blank, studying her. Her heart began racing in her chest.

What had she done?
