When the Tables Turn
Description
Taeyeon always had Sunny there for her. She was a handful-always dealt with a problem here and there. But when had she ever heard of Sunny complaining about something? Never. When had she ever found Sunny crying over her problems? Again... never. Sunny's undying support was something Taeyeon could rely on. However, when Sunny begins to bring her real inner feelings out, how will it affect Taeyeon?
Foreword
I clicked the record button as Ginger rolled around on the floor. He's so cute. As of now, SNSD is taking a short hiatus from promotions, so I have a lot of time. Luckily I have my puppy to entertain me, as well as Fany and Sunny living under the same roof, so play time is all the time. I smiled. I really wonder what it would have been like to live by myself. I couldn't even imagine, actually. The girls are all I have-I'm not really good at making friends. I felt a nudge on my thigh. That's right. Ginger. I stopped the recording and locked my phone, picking him up afterwards and scratching his chin. Today has just started. I wonder what the others are doing... Tiffany took a trip back home in LA, so I guess she's sleeping on the plane. That leaves...
I'm about to call for Sunny when she walks out of the doorway and through the living room, heading for the kitchen. I jump up and run towards her, expecting a hug or some kind of physical greeting. She's usually the go-to for that stuff.
"Sunny~" I call as she opens the fridge. I can't help but feel something is off. She ignores me, and takes out the bottle of wine from the bottom slot.
"Isn't it a little too early to drink?" I prod. I know it's none of my business, but she drinks so much sometimes. I worry about her health a lot. She still doesn't answer me, but as she turns to leave, she avoids bringing her face to mine.
"Hey-Sunny?" It's bugging me more than it really should. Sunny's always so touchy-feely that it would be unusual to confront her and not get a hug or kiss before leaving. The fact that she's not even looking at me leaves me with a weird feeling. She doesn't even grab a glass. She simply brings the whole bottle to her room.
I run in front of her, making her jump back a bit. She's looking down.
"Soonkyu... you there?" I step closer to her and my hands reach her cheeks, forcing eye-contact with her. I let go in shock.
"S-Sunny..."
Her eyes are red and puffy, cheeks stained with tears. Her eyebrows are scrunched up so much that she's probably been making that expression for quite some time. If she was wearing makeup, it'd be all washed away by now.
Before I can say another word, she's off and running to her room.
I hear the sound of a lock clicking...
Or my heart breaking.
