Description

A new week begins. Streets are crowded with people hurrying to work or school, cars honking at each other in a rush, the wind is soft and chilly in the morning sun and a buss shrieks to a stop as a moped decided to break the law to cross over the road in front of the bus. The bus is filled at this hour, students in their school uniforms heading to school, businesswomen and men wearing black suits and shiny shoes with a suitcase or backpack probably filled with papers for today’s work. Some younger boys are standing tightly together on the bus with heads looking down at the cell phones they are playing games on. Two older teenage girls are sitting down and chatting about what they did in the weekend, giggling and unaware of the disliking stares they receive from others as there is an elderly woman barely able to stand on the bus moving back and forth.

Elders get to sit on the bus, but these two teenage girls seem to either not notice the old woman standing in the crowded bus, wailing low at each turn or stop the bus makes; no one says a thing about it because no one want to mind others, instead pretending they can not see the old woman having trouble standing on the bus and hoping the teenage girls will stand up soon.

With another stop there are three people getting off and four more getting on, and from the back of the bus a girl lightly slinks through under the long arms holding on to whatever they reach and bodies crowding, and soon enough the long brown hair of a cute girl blocks the view for the old woman glancing at the two teenage girls. Wearing big fashion glasses, her brown hair in two pony-tails hanging down over the dark-blue sweater and marching skirt, the young girl holds out her hand to get the giggling teenagers attention. As soon as the hand disturbs them two pair of eyes glare at the girl, first at her face and then up and down at her body. Seeing it is a younger girl the two teenagers cross their arms in synch and raise their eyebrows.

“And what do you want?” one of them asks in a cold tone.

“Could at least one of you stand up so the grandmother here can sit?” the girl asks kindly and turns her body aside for the two teenage girls to see the old woman stand on a pair of unsteady legs. Both girls look at the grandmother and with a face that says that don’t really want to stand up, they both get their bags and move away from the seats without a word, visibly seen upset that someone told them to move.

The girl with glasses turns around to the old woman with a smile, holding on to the elderly woman’s arm to help her take the seat.

“Thank you so much, little student,” the old woman smiles at her when getting to rest her legs, looking like she really appreciate to sit down. “In my time, the kids used to stand up as soon as they saw an old mother like me stand up, but you know, today’s children they are too oblivious to their surroundings.”

The girl just smiles at the old woman, and with a glance to see where they are she notices her stop is just around the corner.

“Please be careful with your health,” the girl says her final polite words to the old woman, hearing a chuckling and a goodbye said back to her before heading to the doors of the bus.

Foreword

devonalias here!

I said I wasn't going to start a new story since no one seems interested in it, but when I have the idea to write - I write. So here is my new story! LOTUS FLOWER YUN HEE!

It is the story of a SM trainee wanting to become a singer more than anything else. In the story you will read about her struggles to reach her dream, of how she falls in love and struggles with ordinary things that teenagers and humans go through. It is completely fictional and no pictures are mine other than the poster that I will quickly do. I love critic, good and bad, anything to help me grow and improve my writing and mindset, so don't hesitate to comment in any way you want.

The story will contain Korean pop artists, mostly belonging in SM Entertainment. I am not sure who will appear just yet other than that EXO and SHINee are two main visitors in the story (not all of them the whole time)

Pretty please no silent reader~
