"Do you know why I hate you so much?" Kerrie shouted."Because you just treat me like !"

"I know that but darling--"

"Don't call me darling!Everytime I see families so happy together, I envy them.But do you care? No, I don't think so..." Kerrie said as tears welled up in her eyes.

"Kerrie, please can you think a bit for--"

"Think for you? Oh yes, I think too much for you!Mum died because of you and now you are remarried.I rather hate you more than hate my stepmother!"

"Why Kerrie,why must you be like--"

"Why must I be like this?Oh, you know why? 'cause I hate you! Clare treats me even better than you! She treats me like I'm her real daughter! You just treat me like... I don't exist!"

--Kerrie POV--

Hiya! I'm just so in pain right now...All because of my hateful father.Everytime when we went to the mall he bumped into his boss and his boss asked him whether am I his daughter and I expecting him to say "Yes! This was my beautiful daughter." But did you know he said? He said that I was his niece!

I could feel anger boiling inside of me. Tears flowed out of my eyes like a fast stream!

I wish I could just scream!

"Kerrie dear?"

This kind , warm voice interrupted my thoughts. "Kerrie dear, can I come in?"

"Fine, fine...Come in..." I said  between sobs.

"Kerrie... There is something I need to tell you..."

"What is it..."

"It's about your mom..."

When I heard the word "mom", I quickly turned to face Clare.

"What, what? Shoot!" I eargerly asked.

"She asked me to tell you that I must marry your father after she dies so I can take care of you. She hates your father too! So, I had to do something. She told me to give you something. That is this." She took out a box and opened it up. It was a necklace

"She wants me to tell you after you've got this necklace, you'll have to run away."
