Sehun was wounded, alone and in despair over the possible failure of their mission to protect and bring Prince Kai to the east. He tries to distance himself from the scene of the massacre of his comrades, away from the clutches of the evil Crown Prince Yunho. The gash on his side was deep, and his life-blood freely spilled on to the forest floor. He was about to welcome Death when someone unexpectedly came and saved him from his almost tragic end.
