“Switch with me,” the blonde demands, his dark brown eyes flashing. “Baek, please, do this one thing for me!” The other boy narrows his eyes as he continues to size his brother up. This is the first time that his brother ever pleaded for anything. Byun Woohyun always gets what he wants. After all, he’s the “perfect” son. He never does anything wrong, he’s great in everything he does, he has a killer personality, the list goes on eternally. That being said, Baekhyun has never been a big fan of his twin brother.

Why wasn’t he blessed with those traits?

The past is the past, but Baekhyun can’t help but still feel sour over his parents choice to send him to America and not his brother. “You’re out of control, Baekhyun,” they had said. “This’ll give you a chance to calm down.” Yeah, right. Out of control? Please. That’s called asserting one's independence. Which, by the way, Baekhyun has very little of. Unlike Mr. Perfect who has the world in the palm of his hand.

How aggravating.

“Why should I?” he asks, pursing his lips slightly. “I mean, what do I get out of this?”

Woohyun sighs loudly and rubs the back of his neck. “You get to stay in Korea,” he begins. Although the idea is tempting, Woohyun can tell that the offer isn’t compelling enough. “And I’ll give you 50% of all of my earnings.” Woohyun says, finality in his tone. Baekhyun raises an eyebrow, the corners of his mouth slowly drifting upwards. The offer only gets more appealing.

“What’s the catch?”

The blonde male bites his lower lip and looks around the deserted cafe, just in case. Leaning forwards, he rests his forearms upon the table. Baekhyun, too, leans in. For some reason, his brother, who’s always calm and collected, seems particularly nervous and on-edge today. “It’s rather simple actually,” he states, his eyes darting back and forth as he evaluates his twins expression. “You just have to pretend to be me.”
